Great simple breakfast in Rome. This place was so busy we thought it must be good.
Lots of choice and good value. Staff managed the constant customers really well.
Recommended if you are near the Colosseum.

Imagine you go to a cafe with ok food but the waitress is extremely rude. If you come to La Licata, and you get the blonde waitress, that’s what will happen.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious! We ordered croissant and classic Toast. It was a crispy croissant with sweet pistachio cream (the best I ate the last 4 days) and a well toasted bread with melted cheese inside. Last but not least the coffee. It was strong, as we wanted, to start our day full of energy.
This was one of the tastiest breakfasts we had while in Italy. Unfortunately, the service was so bad that it ruined the experience. It was a busy morning for the for sure, but we watched two tables seated after us receive their food before we even got water. The server was unfriendly and borderline rude. We would not return based on this.
