I was at Eataly on 1st July 2016. There are lots of $1 euro items on sale such as chocolate bar, cookies, potato chips, soap bar, etc. I will include photo of it at the bottom.
I took a bus from Argentina stop(near Campo difiori) to Colloseo metro. From there take a metro to Pyramide stop. Upon metro exit, turn right. Walk outside about 3 min, on your right is Ostiense metro. Inside Ostiense metro, you take the escalator to lower ground floor. Walk straight all fthe way through the tunnel that will lead you out to Eataly.
I had seafood pasta(cod fish). It was quite delicious but the cod fish is too less and very tiny. They provide bread free of charge. However, they charge $1euro for waiter service fee in the bill.
There is a Venchy gelato shop at ground floor. No queue there as it was not crowded like Venchy in Pantheon. The gelato is very nice compared to another place that I had eaten.
There is a Illy coffee shop at ground floor. They also sell cakes and pastries. I will want to try it out on my next visit if I have the chance to visit Rome again.
Eataly is quite quiet with too few people on a weekday(day time) when I was there. I was a bit surprised because all other places in Rome had massive crowd(such as Euroma2 mall, Pantheon, Navona, Trevi, etc).
