Rome was our third stop in Italy, and my husband and I were very please with this hotel. We felt that it was a great location, but still in a quiet area. The room was clean and extremely modern. My 6'3" husband especially appreciated the large shower. You can take in great views from the near rooftop bar. The hotel staff was very patient and friendly when helping us with directions and suggestions. We would definitely stay here again!

Dear Guest,
Thanks for pointing out our larger showers. It’s always nice to come back to your room after a long, hot day of sightseeing and get under that water flow!
See you soon.
My best,

All the wonderful TripAdvisor reviews are spot on. This is a great hotel in a great location in Rome. We were able to walk to nearly every attraction with the exception of the Vatican. The rooms were modern, spacious and extremely clean. It was nearly 100 degrees there during our stay and the hotel's air conditioning worked liked a charm. Special shout out to Michaela who checked us in Friday night and recommended a place for a late dinner, and especially Claudia who recommended 4 unbelievably great restaurants for dinner. Thanks Fortyseven Hotel for a wonderful stay in Rome. This is a top-notch hotel and I highly recommend!

Dear Guest,
So, I take it that you read the Trip Advisor Reviews before booking? Did you also read my responses?! Jokes aside, the air conditioning throughout and the Courtyard do come in handy with this heat!!! Even with the high temperatures, Rome is still magical as ever.
See you next time!

We chose this hotel for its location, all major attractions are within walking distance, but were impressed with the accommodation and staff. The hotel has a cool, clean feel as there is marble in many of the common areas and the décor could be described as simple elegance. The rooms are a good size, very clean and well serviced. The staff are a real asset. We found them helpful and friendly, we followed their restaurant suggestions each night and they were spot on. A wonderful stay.

A friendly hotel in a very good location. Only a short walk from the Colosseum and within walking distance of the main sights. Also located not far from the restaurant district in Trastevere. Friendly staff who are happy to help. We were upgraded to a superior room as we had booked more than five nights but due to noise from construction nearby we requested room change after one night. That request was accommodated without fuss and we moved rooms that afternoon (staff moved our bags etc.). The new room 9and superior room) was clean, good beds, plenty of space and good bathrooms. Would certainly stay here again if ever in Rome.

We chose this hotel partly because of its location and partly because it was accessible to our daughter who is in a manual wheelchair. The access is through a side door with a slightly steep ramp and probably should not be done without assistance. My daughter's room was completely accessible, including a second, completely accessible bathroom. We were able to walk to the Forum, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and Pantheon easily. We probably could have walked to the Spanish steps and Vatican as well, but chose to take a cab due to the heat. Restaurants recommended by the night concierge, Claudia, met our tastes perfectly. They were not touristy, not expensive, were accessible, and all meals were excellent. We ate on the rooftop on our last night there. Food, presentation and service were all wonderful as well as the views. The discount provided to hotel guests made the price extremely reasonable as well. My only warning would be that this is open air, so it was good the heat wave had broken. There is one other item I was impressed with. We left at 8 am to return to the US, while my son was headed to Naples to continue his vacation with a friend. The hotel offered to hold his luggage and let him use a shower at the end of the day in case he wanted to further tour Rome.

Dear Guest,
Happy to read that your son and daughter found everything to their needs. Claudia seems to always know the ‘best place’ to send Guests. Did you ask her where to buy chocolate? If not, do it next time you’re in Rome during a cooler season!

We arrived early from a flight from Singapore 8.30 am and were told to come back at midday as our allocated room was not ready . We had a walk around the sights and fronted back at 11.30 , to be told our room would not be ready till approx. 2pm . We were shown a lower floor room which had the double bed set up even though we were wanting 2 twins . We decided to take this room , as we did not want to wait a further 3 hours , especially as we had ben told our room would be available earlier .The change to 2 twins was done with half a hour .
Marco the manager became argumentative when I questioned him on the room category we had paid for . To be berated in heated tones in front of hotel staff and my partner caused us considerable anxiety - we were jetlagged and not usually addressed in this manner .
Everything was made good the following morning by Marco,s profuse warm greetings ...... Hmmmm.

The hotel is in a great location for the sights of Rome . Delicious breakfasts in the outside courtyard were perfect .

We had paid for a relax package which included a car and driver from the airport to the hotel . On checkout another car service whisked us to meet our departing train to Florence .

The restaurants in the vicinity are great and easy close walking distance .

Dear Guest,
Thanks for taking the time to write your review. I’d like to bring to light a few points to our TA Readers.
Standard check in time is at 2 pm. The fact that you were offered a room at 11:30 and the bed change to two twins was done in 30 minutes is evidence of our sincere efforts to all our Guests.
I am sorry for your interpretation of your dialogue with our Front Desk Manager, Marco Luzzetti. Marco has been complimented so many times in TA by our former Guests, that I feel that there was simply a misunderstanding between the two of you and therefore Marco’s ‘warm greeting’ the day after.
Again, thank you for sharing your thoughts and all your compliments regarding 47.
We hope to see you in the near future!
My best,

We stayed in an executive suite for 4 nights - great. Good space, great comfortable beds, and a nice touch with the nespresso coffee. Breakfast was better than expected with good selections. The location was excellent, around the corner from the Forum and across the river from Trastevere, which is great quarter for evening strolls and restaurants. The staff were helpful and nothing was too much trouble. It made our Rome adventure all th more enjoyable.
