We, our family of 4, stayed here the beginning of May for 3 nights and again after our cruise for another 3 nights. The hotel arranged our pickup from the airport and our transportation back to the airport at the end of the vacation for a fee, the service they provided was very professional, on time and I would recommend using them as well. The location of Hotel Raffaello is on a quiet street and we never had any late night noise to complain about, yet we were within walking distance of all the popular attractions. We walked back to the hotel most days late at night and never felt unsafe. Breakfast was provided and offered an assortment of ham, eggs, tomatoes, peaches (and other fruit) pastries, toast, coffee, cappuccino etc, in the afternoon there were apples at the front desk and a coffee/cappuccino maker downstairs. We had a 2 room suite, queen bed in one and 2 twins in the other, very clean...our favourite part of the room was the air-conditioning!! last time we were in Rome our room (4 star)did not offer it until a certain date and Rome can get very warm, even in May. We were very impressed both times when we arrived early to check in and our room was ready! after flying all night it was great to be able to get into our room and settle in (even if the room hadnt been ready they would have held our bags for us but having the room ready was a nice bonus) I would stay here again and I am not the only one because when I got home I was reading a canadian magazine (Moneysense) and they recommended this hotel to stay in Rome because of it value and what it offered.

Dear guest,

Not only have you written your opinion about us, but you've done it in a very detailed way. Having such praising words about Raffaello...can only make us happy and proud. Thank you! :)

Through the years, we have continuously tried to improve ourselves, as well as the services we offer (the pick-up service, the concierge. the Pillow Menu, the coffee machine in the lobby, the free wi-fi, or the free A/C...are some of the examples, along with so much more we try to give...

We are here for you - our guests- and your wellbeing is the most important thing for us. Once again, thank you: not only did you notice and appreciated this, but you have also shared it with the others...

Hoping your return to Rome will take place in a near future, ..we wish you all the best, and ...we will keep a fresh room for you! :)
Coolest regards,
Elena :)

We really like this hotel. Especially like it that we could make delicious coffee at any time in the lobby room.....no matter what time we came in. The breakfast was outstanding. The rooms were very nice. My daughter's single room was located on the corner closest to the street, so it was a little loud. But she moved the next day and it was better. The concierge was very helpful as far as restaurants, transportation and suggestions on what to do.

Room Tip: Rooms in the front of the hotel tend to have lots of street noise. Most drivers in Italy love to use...

Dear guest,

Thank you for your splendid words, we are more than glad we succeeded in the intention of making your staying here as serene as possible.

Whenever it is possible (it doesn't depend on us only), we do our best in order to satisfy our guests' requests on the rooms, and we were lucky we could do that for your daughter. We are here for you, our guests' wellbeing is essential to us.

As about the coffee machine, ..we know Italy is known for its espresso, that is why we couldn't deny our clients the pleasure of enjoying a good espresso in the lobby. :)

Hoping we will have the chance of sipping this wonderful coffee again, we send you our best regards!

We would happily stay there again. We stayed there for several nights before our cruise. We were able to walk with our luggage to Termini to catch the train to the Port to pick up the cruise.
Good location but not right in the touristy areas. Good cafes and places to eat/drink nearby which are frequented by the locals. The large church just behind the hotel is one of the top three Basilicas in Rome. The rooms were spacious by European standards and very clean. Good breakfast included to start the day.

Dear guest,

As our main priority is YOU- OUR GUESTS- ...it is essential for us receiving feedbacks. They help us undersand what we are doing good, and what else we could improve, so we use them as a tool to continuously grow, for you, and for us...

Thank you: not only have you shared your opinion with the others, but you have done it is such a splendid way, we really appreciate it.

As about the Raffaello, yes, its position is one of its strenght points: downtown, in one of the most ancient neighborhoods, but isolated from all the noise around...

That being said, we hope we will have the chance of hosting you again soon ...

Best and warmest regards,
Elena

This hotel is fantastic, nothing is too much for the concierge, Francesca and Massimo. I arrived from a long flight from Melbourne and found that my room was not ready as yet as the previous guests had not moved out. No problem I got installed in the lobby with a coffee and within the hour they had everything arranged. The rooms are divine, great space and lovely furnished, very clean and in a perfect location. You are within walking distance to the colosseum and surrounded by little cares and restaurants in the same street. Again the concierge was happy to give you advice about where to go for some lunch or dinner or anything else you wanted to know. The staff, the location and the atmosphere of this hotel are all top quality. Certainly would stay there again!

Room Tip: I had the triple room but had paid for a double on previous advice on trip advisor. I think they put...

The hotel is well located, close to Termini station and there are many restaurants around. The staff is very friendly, specially Elena, who helped us a lot with sightseeing, tickets and tips to enjoy Rome. The room was really good: plenty of space, clean, nice shower and confortable bed!
Breakfast was very good too!
I really recommend this hotel!!

Dear Pablo,

We are so grateful you have enjoyed your staying here with us so much!
Our guests' wellbeing is what we care most about, that is why our gratification comes out from their satisfaction.

As about the hotel, thank you for having pointed out its main strenght : the position.
Situated in the Monti district, on a small cobblestone street, with loads of small restaurants, taverns and handcraft shops in the neighborhood , ...Raffaello is close to both subway lines stops, as well as the main train station, and only 1 km away from the Colosseum.

But as always, I talked too much... :)
Wishing you all the best, thank you once again for your wonderful words!
Warmest regards,
Elena

We stayed in this hotel for two nights. The hotel needs updating the carpet and room we stayed in were very worn and old. The concierge was helpful in booking transport from airport but not at all helpful on a tour of the colosseum or food tour or helping us with storage of bags while in Spain. The breakfast was ok. Have stayed at better hotels in rome for the same cost.

Dear Soccerkingdom,

Are you sure it was RAFFAELLO the hotel you meant to write about in this review?!
I mean, maybe you've made a mistake, and you wanted to write about another hotel... I am not joking, it happend several times...

I am asking you this because no matter how much me and my colleagues tried remembering somebody asking us to storage their lugagge while in Spain, NOBODY REMEMBERS HAVING BEEN ASKED ANYTHING regarding that, as well as I CAN ENSURE YOU 100% IN THE 9 months I have been here, I HAVE NEVER BEEN ASKED to book a tour of the Colosseum without having done it. And I could absolutely NOT RECALL anybody asking me a food tour lately...
We have storaged lugagge here even for 2 weeks, of clients who weren't even arrived. As you could check in other reviews, we even spent hours at the phone trying to sort out lost bagagge, etc...
That is why we are convinced you have written the review for another hotel, and by mistake you sent it for ours.
We are Hotel Raffaello, Urbana Street, Rome. Could you please try and check if you meant US, and it was not a mistake, please?
Waiting for an answer, we wish you all the best.
Elena, concierge

We stayed at this Hotel on 26 May for 1 night before our cruise. We also had the Hotel private airport pick up and he was waiting for us when we arrived. The room was nice and clean and looked out over the front of the Hotel. The bathroom was good with all the amenities. The breakfast was really good with lots to choose from. All the staff were helpful and friendly. I would recommend this Hotel for anyone wanting a Hotel in Rome.

Dear guest,

The first thing that came to my mind was...we didn't even have the chance to properly show you our way of spoiling our guests, and you wrote such a wonderful review! What if you had stayed here for a week?! :)

Joking aside, we honestly do hope you will come back soon, this time allowing us to introduce you the Eternal City's secrets and misterious corners, ...as well as the most important turistic hotspots... :)

Hoping that will happen soon, we wish you all the best! :)
