We booked on their homepage (www.hotelraffaello.it) and got a really good deal for less than 100 Euro per night (as we stayed 4 nights). Breakfast was included and was good (for Rome at least as usually you don´t get eggs and muesli etc). Within 20 minutes walk you can reach everything - don´t forget to bring good shoes as you will walk a lot in Rome. We had very good pizza right around the corner in a nice restaurant (L´Angelo Di Napoli; pizza 9 €, bottle house wine 9 €). We tried an expensive restaurant (Al Presidente) which had a menu for 50-70 € but this was not worse the money. I would stay with the simple Italian Pizzeria... Rome is great - you´ll love it. But don´t forget to look after your money, we always only had cash in our pockets, but no credit cards, passports etc... they will be gone once you use the bus...

We found this hotel online and booked it through a website other than the hotel's site. We paid 110 Euro a night which was a bargain compared to the hotel's website. The hotel was warm and cozy and quiet. We had asked for a high floor and were given the top floor (5th floor) with a lovely terrace overlooking the rooftops of Rome. This hotel has great breakfast, an okay staff (front desk staff a little grumpy) and is close to many of Rome's great tourist attractions. The shower is really tiny but refreshing none the less. We would stay here again.

This is a nice hotel for a quick stay in Rome, located in the old city center rather close to the major locations and with public transport nearby. The staff is friendly and the rates are reasonable. We booked it through Expedia and everything went smooth as silk.
Being in an old city building, there aren't many amenities but you're not coming to Rome to enjoy the swimming pool most likely. With a bus stop on line 75 right behind the hotel and the Metro at Stazione Termini, you can get there and away quickly. The room was a little warm but the window opened, and there seems to be an AC for the hot months. The bathroom was very clean, modern, and fully operational, with a nice multi-jet shower. The one thing I would improve was the bed, it wasn't bad but could be softer.
Overall, I would recommend the hotel to anyone who doesn't look for corporate standard fare.

Great hotel for the $. NIce breakfast, nice location. people in the front desk have a funny sense of humor, but the rooms are clean, not really big. The bathroom has not bath tops, just a small shower. I mean VERY SMALL, people ho are overweight may have issues taking showers without touching the panels.
Overall it was good

Hotel was exactly like all good reviews on Tripadvisor. It was newly decorated, and very, very clean. Room was great - balcony over side street, warm, and comfortable. Ensuite was very small, but again, newly upgraded. Shower very small, and space inside taken up with jacuzzi shower which was a bit of a toy. Location is great - easy to walk to from main Termini as well as to all the sites. In other reports, it was noted that the staff were unfriendly - I did not find this. However, like a lot of Italians we met in restaurants etc, they were not "gushing" - anything we asked for was given with a smile, but you had to ask! Would recommend to anyone - have stayed in worse 4-star hotels!

We wanted to be within walking distance to several attractions in Rome and convenient to the Termini train station. This hotel was perfect for that purpose. The lift is very small, and stops between floors, so you have to get your luggage up and down a half flight. However the porter will help if you ask.

The water pressure is great, the breakfast room is fine. The rooms are comfortable, but small, and they have blackout curtains.

The front desk staff is not overy helpful, but if you engage them in conversation (most speak very good English), they are outgoing and pleasant.

We were very satisfied with this hotel and consider it a good value.

There is a central computer, with which you can use the internet for a small fee. There is also wireless, but we did not use it. The tvs are tiny and old, with only one english channel. This was not important to us however.

We booked this hotel from the travel agency at the Venice train station before leaving Venice to go to Rome. We were pleasantly surprised! What a wonderful hotel, staff was incredible and the breakfast one of the best that we had between Venice and London. Will stay there again.
