“A hidden GEM”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

We were walking from our hotel and had asked where is a good place for lunch. The hotel had mentioned this place and I am always a little hesitant with hotel recommendations. The place is relatively simple modern design all in white. The server she was terrific, friendly patient. Great bread, nice appetizers and seafood risotto and pasta meals. They had a lot of fresh fish which we did not try. If you are near the Vatican and want to skip all the tourist traps, this is a place that is mostly for locals, nice atmosphere, not a rushed pace, great Food.

“HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!”
Reviewed June 17, 2013 via mobile

Simply amazing. The place looks great, there's a nice atmosphere, the staff is very kind and, last but not least, the food is so fresh, tasty and nicely presented. We enjoyed the place so much the first time that we came back twice in 2 days. Everything was good: mussels (starter), sliced beef with gorgonzola dices, seafood risotto, spaghetti al nero di seppia. Even the desserts were perfect (tiramisu, mille feuilles with strawberries, OMG!). Definitely a pleasant surprise as we've been disappointed by many restaurants in Italy which are traps for tourists. Finally, considering the quality, prices are fair and, compared to many other places, you don't feel cheated (pls note there isn't any extra charge for service). Don't look further, just try it.

“Best seafood risotto of my life!”
Reviewed June 13, 2013 via mobile

If there is a meal I'd go back to Rome for, it would be their seafood risotto. Fresh and very generous, it was both a feast for the eyes and our taste buds.

Their buffalo mozzarella with parma ham was also the most moist and flavorful we had during our trip.

Their bread, like in most restaurants in Rome, doesn't come free. And like most restaurants in Rome, they also have a cover charge per person.

But really, you can't go wrong with the seafood risotto. You can choose to go here for dinner or lunch after visiting the Vatican as it's just a few minutes' walk away.

“Expensive for the quality”
Reviewed June 11, 2013

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of our hotel. We ordered an antipasto (Eggplant Parmesan) which was delicious but the main course (the Chateaubriand) was terrible and was served with an extremely small smattering of "greenery" on the side. We were even charged 4 Euro for four extremely small dinner rolls. The service was really nothing to write home about. We did not have any alcohol with the meal ans the bill came to 82 Euro. We would never return to this restaurant.

“lovely recommendation”
Reviewed June 11, 2013

We were recommended this restaurant by the staff at our hotel. It has fresh seafood at good prices. I preferred it to La Rosetta and the service was wonderful.
