Had a great stay at this B&B Roma the staff was very friendly and the hotel is an easy train ride to and from FCO i walked the neighborhood area people were all friendly there is a nice little cafe just a couple of blocks on the corner of Asset and small market only about a block away. I used the metro subway to attractions for only 1.50e each way they were clean and again the locals I sat with were always friendly and we could communicate in English mostly hope this is helpful.

Was a little apprehension about staying here as of some of the reviews and it being part of a bundle we purchased. We even discussed moving to a different location and just paying more money. I am so glad we didn't believe all of the reviews and stayed here though. It was a wonderful hotel that was a little bit away from the tourist area, but more authentic to me. We had to catch the bus or train everyday which was literally right down the street, and filled with working class Italians on their way to work. There a lot of local places within walking distance of the hotel, grocery stores, convenience stores, whatever you need. The staff was amazing and always willing to answer questions. The only complaint I would have is the hotel restaurant wasn't the greatest, the food was OK and easy to eat sometimes but go out as often as you can.

The people who complain about the graffitti are not lying there is some graffiti around here, but to be honest I saw a ton of graffitti all around Rome, just not around the hotel. It's pretty much all around the city. My other advice would be to make sure you empty your bladders before you leave, I cannot tell you how many times my wife went to use the restroom and couldn't/wouldn't because there were no toilet seats. It's a thing look it up.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The staff did everything to make our stay and vacation in Rome great. Staff helped us navigate the public transportation system and provided directions and maps to the places we wanted to go. The hotel is a bit far from the city center but a 4 minute walk to busses or 7 minute walk to the metro was very easy. The breakfast was fantastic with a great variety of food. We ate so much we skipped lunch every day as we were too full even after walking a lot. The deep fried artichokes with cheese fondue in their restaurant was the best in Rome as we tried quite a few to include Jewish. This was dessert for us at the end of the day. I normally don't do reviews but I saw quite a few negative comments and wanted to share my great experience at this hotel.

B&B Tuscolana was the last included hotel stay on our bus tour of Italy. We extended our stay in order to join a cruise leaving from Rome. This is a lovely hotel where the staff are all willing to help make your stay a comfortable and stress free one. The rooms are spacious and always kept very clean & well stocked and the bar & restaurant provide delicious breakfast, dinner and yummy coffees. We would highly recommend this hotel.
