Very near to Trevi Fountain and other attractions.
Room too small for three people.

You have to climb a carrying your luggage without anyone to help you stairs because the elevator is on the first floor and it is EXTREMELY small .
No body helped us carrying the luggage.
Breakfast very poor and the waitress was always cranky by overwork and uncomfortable if you ask for another coffee.
Italians: be embarrassed by your high prices and poor services!!!!

Stayed Nov 3-4, 2013, prior to boarding Ruby Princess. Great location. Walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, and subway for connection to Vatican. Clean, well-maintained, courtesy, helpful staff. Only downside is that the very small elevator stops one floor above the lobby. However, the desk clerk offered to have staff help with luggage. Comfortable room, excellent breakfast.

My kids and I (ages 10 and 13) stayed at this hotel December 16-17 before leaving for our cruise. We stayed in the Jr suite which was lovely, the small walk out terrace was a nice treat even in winter. The room was long and narrow with the bathroom past the main and secondary rooms, our family did not feel cramped at all. The pictures on Trip Advisor as well as the hotel pictures are accurate, no surprises for us. One will have to walk up a full flight of stairs to reach the (small) 2 person lift, however, the hotel does have a bellman that is more than willing to bring luggage to one's room. Others complained about noise-maybe I was to jet lagged to notice or maybe I'm used to city life but, we didn't notice a lot of outside noise, nor did I hear any neighbors television or talking etc.

Breakfast is served two doors down from the hotel entrance, although the room where the breakfast was severed is not impressive, breakfast was ample and fresh (the woman that makes the coffee and hot chocolate is lovely, I am also pretty sure she makes the best coffee in Rome!)

The hotel staff were all quite helpful -I arrived at the hotel earlier than expected, they tried very hard to accommodate my early arrival, which was very much appreciated. They responded to my emails promptly prior to my arrival and offered to arrange transfer service from the airport.

The location is also great, it's within walking distance to Trevi as well as the Spanish stairs and many other top sites -we actually walked to the Tomb of the unknown solder and the Colosseum although the hotel is so close to the Metro. Also there are many places to eat lunch/dinner close by.

-The things I noticed that could be improved upon was that the room could use a fresh coat of paint, and the breakfast room could use some (TLC) attention. The bathroom is VERY functional, lots of space to store my 'girly' stuff great water pressure etc...but the corner shower is quite small.

The best thing about this hotel is its excellent location.. You can practically walk to everywhere from here including Trevi Fountain.. The train station is also barely 500 meters from the hotel.. The rooms are small though manageable. Also, its not entirely connected by elevator - you'll have to take some stairs even to get to the elevator.. Not recommended if you're not comfortable with stairs.. The breakfast is served in the adjoining building and is quite nice.. The serving lady will add multiple smiles to your breakfast free of cost!

Room Tip: Choose the room with attached bath.. There are the ones with private baths, but may not necessarily...

Our very small room looked nothing like the pictures. The bed was uncomfy (very hard!!) and the walls so thin I couldn't sleep one night 'cause the neighbour had his TV on... The bathroom was nice thou, but lay across the landing (not in the room). Not so practical if you wanted to go in the middle of the night...

The breakfast was nothing really (not if you're used to more like english/american breakfast.). It was more of an afternoon snack. The breakfast lady and the hotell staff was nice and helpful. And the location is quite nice too (but beside a heavy road!). So two points for that. But not a hotell I would recommend...

Room Tip: Try to get a room away from the trafficated road...

Hotel Fellini is not a huge luxury hotel, but it was more than worth the rate per night. The front desk staff is friendly and anxious to accommodate everyone's needs. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. We stayed in the Jr Suite for two nights and had lots of room and slept great. Then we decided to add another night and moved to the penthouse (attic room)! it was fine, but I really like the suite. The location is awesome ... Convenient to all the sites and Metro. The breakfast is just adequate, nothing beyond basic needs. The server was nice, and the hot chocolate was 'European good'. We felt safe walking everywhere ... No problems with pickpockets. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Spend a little more and get the spacious jr suite! To save more money, take bus (5 euros at station...

We enjoyed our stay (4 days). We like the fact that the reception is open 24/7 and the reception staff is friendly and capable of answering all kinds of questions. We expected our room, a junior suite, to be a little bigger but we were not disappointed. The atmosphere (red walls and beautiful sheets) is great, we slept well and the shower is fantastic (I read other stories in another review). Every morning a print out of the weather forecasts were supplied in our room. We would definitely come back.

Note: we exchanged some emails and we were surprised by the prompt replies! Keep up the good work.
