Well, what I would mention as a shortcoming is that it is 45-55 minutes drive from the city center which is annoying and tiring.
The other not pleasant moment is that you can only check in after 3 pm which is late for somebody who arrived at 9 am.
The waiters are very slow and not too happy with their jobs (especially if your dinners are included in your tour ) , you may simply beg for tap water which comes late anyway. They also don't consider to serve men a little more than women ( even if the man is twice as big as the woman , he still gets the same amount of food).
But everything else is good- rooms are not big but well kept and clean, at the reception they try to be helpful , but as good piece of advice ----- wifi must be free( but isn't) .

This hotel charges for wifi.
The rooms were fine, but some folks had issues with balcony locks not working. Our main issue was the smell. There was an overwhelming smell of some chemically faux fragrance in the carpets. It most certainly contributed to a terrible migraine my daughter had there.

My sister and I traveled to Rome together. We got a very good deal for this hotel, which is why I am rating it fair.
Pros:
• Very reasonably Priced
• Close to Bus stop
• Fairly Clean
Cons:
• It’s a bit out of the way. You have to take the bus to Fleming from the Vatican to get there.
• The Breakfast isn't very good, but its free (so it is what it is)
• There is no hairdryer or Irons available in the rooms

Stayed here for 3 nights with my friend, after reading the reviews I was expecting much worse, the hotel was excellent for the money we paid and with a bonus of free breakfast!!!! Food was good, croissants, cake, coffee, juice - I think some people expect too much for little money!
Room was clean and fresh towels were provided every day, staff were friendly, bed was very comfortable.
Neighbourhood was maybe not the best - we did get flashed at waiting for the bus 32 at night by a young local man so be careful. Local cafe was nice and takes about 20-30 mins to get from centre of Rome.

The hotel is very nice and staff were helpful. Didn't eat there so can't comment on the food but if you are coming from champino airport don't use the bus to termini as we sat for 30 min before moving then it took 45 min into the city, from there we took the metro to san pietro station/ottovianno ? Then the number 32 bus to flammio a total of 2 and half hrs to get to the hotel instead get the bus from airport to anganina metro station and the metro to ottoviano then the 32 bus to the hotel. When going into the city there is a restaurant called pastarella by the metro where you get off the 32 which is good value, set menu from 7 to 15 euro

For a 4 star hotel, I was not impressed by the location of it. They gave us the wrong room and they couldn't swap us as they were booked.

The room was not even 4 star rating. My bedroom is better decorated than the hotel room.

The only thing that was good, was the variety of breakfast they had.

Truly disappointed!

Dear Fatima31,
Thank you for taking the time to share with us your feedback and to have chosen our Fleming Htl for your stay in Rome!
We are really sorry you valued the Hotel not a "4-star" as many quality audits have awarded our Hotel as a 4 star and it has been completely renovated this year.
We are surrounded by greenery and are located in a residential area of Rome.
You missed also to mention our recent refurbishment regarding the rooms you judge as worst than your room at home:) !
Even though we fully understand that comments are personal and can express individual disappointment, we are convinced that an objective point of view should always be considered.
We look forward to welcoming you again at the Fleming Htl ...hoping you'll change your mind in future. :)
Best regards,
Stefania Catozzi

We travelling all over Italy for business and unexpectedly had to zoom back to Rome for 1 night, last minute.
So for kicks I thought I'd try priceline and bid 50 dollars for a 4 star hotel.
They actually accepted the bid and we got this place.
It's quite far out of the city centre in a very residential neighbourhood with nothing of interest around, so if your main goal is to walk to all the main Rome sights, this isnt' the place for you.
For our purpose, which was to meet last minute for work, the place was an awesome deal.
The rooms were nicer and bigger than in some of the 5-stars we stayed at, the breakfast was free and pretty good and internet was free of charge as well. There is also a cafe and restaurant across the street and local shops in the surrounding streets, some of which are more interesting than the run of the mill chains you find in the tourist areas.

Room Tip: Not all rooms have balconies. Specifically ask for one if that's what you want.
