We had very nice stay. Good relation between price and quality. Relatively close to many interesting places (15 minutes walking). Morning coffee was especially excellent:). But... it's NOT a quiet place during nights, couse the location is near to the centre of night life.

This small and very Italian hotel is located at a small square approx 10 minutes walk from Termini train station. There is a small food market outside on the square. I had a room on the 4.th floor with a lovely roof terrrace overlooking the square and view to the hills to the south of Rome. The room and the bathroom were well-functioning although simple and looked a bit old. The man in the reception was very helpfull. Breakfast was simple Italian style.

Hotel located in a district of Rome called San Lorenzo. San Lorenzo is the university area, so there are many students. The hotel is very close to many restaurants and small shops. The hotel has a very classic style, with carpets, curtains and leather sofas in the lounge and in the breakfast room. The carpet in my room was very clean, the bathroom was comfortable and the temperature was adequate. The receptionist was a bit slow in the registration of documents, but polite and professional. Overall a good accommodation.

hotel located not far from the city center. We always try to save money so we move with public transport (one-day ticket: 4,00 euros valid 24 hours on any means of transport). the nearest bus stop is 50 m from the Hotel and the bus takes you directly to downtown. the hotel is not luxury but however it is a good accommodation to visit Roma. 3 stars hotel with en suite bathroom and continental breakfast. Good food in perfect Italian style: they have a thousand flavors of jam and a single type of sauce for sausages! It's crazy! However, I think it is true that Italian cuisine is the best in the world: there's nothing like lasagna!

The hotel is located in an area best described as 'lively' due to its close proximity to the University. There are many friendly bars and eateries within a short distance. The main Station and Metro is about 10mins away or 10 Euros in a taxi. From here the whole of Rome and beyond is easily accessable.
The hotel staff were always helpfull and curtious particularly at breakfast which was to a high standard.

Room Tip: Rooms at the rear away from the Piazza will be quieter.

I came back to Rome after 9 years, since my friend and I spent a day looking desperately for Circo Massimo. Now I go there often for work, in different areas. This time I booked the hotel Laurentia on booking.com. I traveled alone, and I have to say that San Lorenzo (University Area) is pretty safe because there are many people in the morning and evening. It is full of nice restaurants and cafes. In the evening when we finished the job always went to drink a beer and eat a sandwich in a restaurant named "Il serpente" (the snake). The Hotel Laurentia is rather classic and elegant. The reception is simple and the staff polite and courteous. There are several areas with armchairs and sofas where you can relax with a cocktail and chatting with colleagues. My room was on the first floor, overlooking a square and a beautiful church with a bell (I forget the name). Very light, not huge but with everything you need: desk, comfortable bed, bathroom with shower toilet and bidet. There was air conditioning and wireless internet access. I had breakfast in a particular environment, such as carved in the rock bricks that create arches on the ceiling. Very quaint. The food is good, there's a decent choice in the buffet of sweet and savory. The environment is quiet. Pity about the lack of swimming, I would have appreciated a lot. However, to the position, the kindness and comfort of the hotel, I'd go back!

I had a meeting in the university "Sapienza" in rome and stayed in this hotel since it was in walking distance. The lobby already made a good impression, the receptionist was friendly and very helpful. My room was on the first floor to the back of the hotel away from the plaza.
I had booked a single room but got a double room with two single beds and a large bathroom. It was clean and tidy. However, I missed a ceiling light. But apparently, this is very common in Rome. So, not such a big deal.
The breakfast was reasonable, they had couple of different cereals, buns, croissants, and so on. I enjoyed it.
One disadvantage was the internet. Although it was free, it had some connection problems. For me it was not clear what the reason was. However, in the lobby is pc you can use 24/7 for free.
If I ever come back to Rome I will definitely stay again in this hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms looking away from the plaza are quieter
