This is anexcellent hoytl situated in the hearth of rome in walkingdistance to all the main attractions. Wehad a fantastic room at the rooftop with our own big balcony where we could relax aftera daywalking around watching attractions We reserved direct at the hotelwebsite and got a very good offer, better that hotels.com etc. The rooms where clean and nice. big rooms. The breakfast was excellent and the service perfect. We will definitive go back to this hotel next time we go to rome.
PS. The rooftopbar had a very nice view over Rome.

We have visited Rome many times & would not stay anywhere other than at the Mozart. We have stayed at the Hotel itself but for a number of years now have prefered the space of the aparments. Always at the Vittoria apartment but this time in the Ripetta Suites in a one-bedroom apartment, just a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
The apartment has the WOW factor. In a 16th century building you enter though no less than 2 seperate security doors & then into your own apartment. Very safe. The apartment retains many original features but with all modern luxuries. There is a spacious lounge/dining room, small but adequate kitchen (with dishwasher), very very large bedroom with big walk in wardrobe, good size bathroom with jacuzzi & massage shower & an large balcony. Very nicely furnished, lovely lamps, curtains, everything so tasteful. Big comfortable bed. In September we needed the Air Con on full blast at the lowest temperature 24/7.
Included in the very reasonable price is an excellent breakfast at the hotel. I notice someone complained abot the lack of variety. I really don't know what people expect. There is assorted cold meats, vegetables, cheeses, soft or hard boiled eggs (hot), savoury quiches, rolls, bread, toast, james, spreads, biscuits, cakes, pastries, sweet flans & pies, yoghurts, variety of fruits, juices, tea, coffee of your choice. We have no trouble putting together a good breakfast that keeps us going right through till dinner.
The roof terrace, as mentioned by many, is a lovely oasis in the city. The bar at the upper level doesn't open until early evening but you can take your own drinks & food up at other times. It's perfect. The bar just charges standard prices & less than in many of the bars outside. If staying in the apartment like we were, there is an excellent supermarket just round the corner on the Via Soderini. We used this only for drinks etc but it was well stocked if you did want to cater for yourself. However, this part of Rome is extremely well served for restaurants. We ate locally each of our 6 nights & never had a ,meal that was less than excellent, including a couple of memorable ones.
The service in the hotel is good as always although the safe in our apartment did stop working & we had to ask twice for someone to sort it out, the second time it was dealt with immediately. The apartment is cleaned daily early afternoon, so no intrusion there.
We have just booked to return to the Ripetta apartment in January & just can't wait to return. Our home in Rome. Thank you to Antonio & the others for looking after us so well as always.

The hotel has an excellent location and it is clean, the room was very small and the bed as well. the breakfast was nothing special, only cold food, but help you to start the day.
I was there for 3 day and I did walk everywhere from there except Vatican City, but the tube station of spagna is very close.
If you are you traveling alone and you are not going to spend to much time in your room I do recommend this hotel. but if you are planing a city break with your partner I'll choose a different hotel.

The roof top bar is beautiful and has some fantastic views of the spanish steps, etc. Try to avoid breakfast at 9:30 as it gets packed and you may need to wait for a table. The women working the breakfast lounge, however, are very efficient so any wait is brief.

Room Tip: If you dont like noise, ask for a room which does not face the street corso

The most courteous service backed by great cappuccino, a fabulous location within walking distance of most historical attractions. the room was small & dark but the double rooftop deck made up for it! We had drinks and lovely small meals while enjoying the view of Rome from the decks! Bathroom was small but clean & very pretty. Shower was great .
We would definitely stay here again!

Firstly thanks for the tip from the lady about the taxis from the hotel, my sister and i arrived and were ready, a single taxi is 75 euro but the shuttle which is a mini bus that may carry others cost us 45 euro for 2 with bags - Appreciated that !!
we arrived at the hotel and similar to others were moved to the other section of the hotel, after other comments my sister was dubious and asked if we could check it out before agreeing, to be honest we much preferred it, you go through a main coded door on the street an internal coded door then your room - !!! as 2 lady travellers the safety aspect was absolutely excellent.

the reception was helpful, but please be made aware that after you paid your online amount on check out you have to pay taxes this is not just the mozart it is all hotels.

The room was lovely and the shower was Fab and the jacuzzi bath was a real bonus !!!

the breakfast is home made pastrys and cakes with egg on toast and frsh meats and cheese - A lovely honest start to the day !!!

we would definitely return to this hotel and would recommend to others, i can think of a genre i would not recommend it for

i hope you enjoy this hotel as much as we did
