“Not a 4 star 2 star Hotel!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 29, 2010

We went in Vacations to Europe this past Month I will really recomend to dont stay here. For us was really unpleasent the stay. The hotel is really old they dont have well maintainance . The bathroom was leaking . One day we came back and the women who cleans the room left our room open. The breackfast is terrible just coffee and bread . No fruit in the breackfast no Yougurgh so no spend more and look for other Hotel is Terrible.
The only good thing is that is very well located with the central Termini but that is about it. The location is not the most beautiful in Rome is dirty . They are a lot other location that you can stay that are beautiful i thought this location was going to be the best but rally is not . Look in The Plaza Spa;ia or near via Veneto this are beautiful areas to stay.
Hope this help you in your trip

Five minutes walk from the Termini station, this hotel is in a great location, and not in the shady part. Plenty of cafes and bars around, perfectly safe to walk around at night. Friendly and helpful staff, advised us on the best ways to get around town, and let us check in early. Breakfast was a normal continental breakfast and perfectly adequate. For the price and location a super hotel.

The service we received was excellent although, apart from check-in and out, we had no real direct contact with staff. Cleaners came in every day(although they had missed a previous occupants sock that was behind the curtain!!!) and breakfast was nice.
Location for us was fantastic. Right near the Termini station (3-min walk) and was only 10-mins walk from the Colloseum. Quite a bit of traffic noise can be heard but then you're right near a main station, so I was expecting that.
Having looked at the pictures, I was very disappointed with the room we got. It was very pokey, looked quite shabby, the air conditioning vent was loose on the wall and the bathroom looked very dated. I think the television was about the same age as me (and I'm 31!) and the remote didn't work. Also, only Italian channels. Bed was comfortable and there was a free safe in the room, so that was good. To be fair, we didn't spend long in the room so it wasn't that much of a problem, as we were only there 3 nights.
Overall, the location was excellent for us, all major attractions in the city were within 30-mins walking, and the hotel was a reasonable price. However, I wouldn't stay in here for more than a couple of days. I would suggest our room was NOT 4-star quality. Get this at a deal price, you should be OK.

We paid for a 4 star hotel but In reality this a 3 star hotel.
The room was tiny and we had to request it was cleaned as the floor was sticky and there was dust everywhere. The TV only showed local channels and was something from the 1980's. Breakfast was included but was quite unpleasant so we skipped it. The room had good noise insulation from outside noise but the interior doors were very cheap and so you could hear every movement in the corridor.

Only plus was that the hotel was close to the main station.

This hotel was actually a brilliant find!

It was great value for money (we paid £160 for 3 nights over a weekend). We didn't expect much for the price we paid but knew that the location was good so thought it was worth a gamble.

We booked the rome crypts and catacombs tour with dark rome - would highly recommend it. It was nice to see a different part of Rome that is not on the normal itineraries.

The hotel was easy to find, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. Couldn't fault it. Would definitely stay here again.

The only good thing about this hotel is its location.

The room was OK but not very clean, staff werent great. We couldnt find the remote for the TV, when we called reception they said they will sort it out. They came up to the room with a remote but wanted 10 euros as a deposit! Breakfast was OK but not the best, the hotel is busy and lots of people in the breakfast room at the same time but the food is not topped up regularly...
