After booking the '4*' hotel for a romantic get - a - way, it's easy to say that the only way this would be 4*, is if you're allowed to rate yourself. Maybe in its heyday, it would have been great, but it's so tired it resembles a Blackpool front b&b. Though the room was tiny, it was clean and the bed was comfy. But there was no space to put things, a prehistoric TV with 5 channels and no signal was the only option. No clocks or radio in sight. Now, an army marches on its belly, and so do ravenous tourists, but hold no hope for this breakfast! Cheese, ham, hard bread and a few cakes of you're lucky. Jams, but no other bread than the egg sized bread rolls. My advice would be to get bits from spar in the termini station, and put it in the fridge. Maybe nip upstairs for ok or hot coffee.
In all, yes it's near to amenities and the bus terminal etc, but I'm sure other, nicer hotels can be found in the same area for the same price.
would we stay again? No.
sorry hotel champagne, but you need to see that you're a 2* and price as such. More
