I agree with some previous comments that this is not a four star hotel.
The bathroom is very small and the shower is tiny.
There is no lounge or bar or any communal seating area.
If the hotel were rated three star it would be adequate only.

Room Tip: Don't expect too much.

I took the wife away for a surprise birthday trip to Rome. This hotel came up at a good price and in a good location so I jumped at it.
We stayed between 26-31 march, and changed rooms immediately to a marginally better room.

Ok..let's do positives. Location is great literally is less than 10 minutes walk from the colleseum, roman forum and many other sites. Also very near to the train/metro/bus station for ease of travelling around the city. The view from the 7th floor at breakfast was brilliant. Also the bed was actually surprisingly comfortable.

Negatives...
The room was very basic and in need of some serious upgrading. The walls were covered in scuff marks giving it a dirty feel to the room, the bathroom also felt dirty..the shower head needed to be cleaned by me before we could use it. This was after moving rooms because the first was even dirtier. Tv in room had a poor signal also..but thats just being picky as we didn't go to Rome to watch te tv. The lift had mind of its own..didn't like stopping on our floor as the doors didn't open and had to wait 5 minutes before it worked out that we did want to get out!!

Overall, disappointing hotel. Was comfortable but not luxurious enough to be considered 4* in my opinion.

It markets itself as a 4star hotel, when I visited in March 2012 at least 2 of the stars had failed to make an appearance.
Rooms small badly in need of refurb, the door to the ensuite had been kicked in previously leaving a hole, the shower has a curtain across it that attacks you when in.Breakfast was poor , where was the fresh fruit? Generally the whole place needs redecorating or at least permanently removing 2 of the stars so as not to be misleading.Almost forgot the temp was 21 C, but the aircon was not working so had to sleep withthe window open. The location is on a very busy street so the noise was awful and this is in the off season. You have been advised.

When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and given a room key and told where to find the room.
When we got in the room we didn't even bother to unpack, the room was small and the facilities were in what only can be described as a "Tunnel" a very narrow corridor with a shower at one end a Bidet and toilet at the other. We were traveling with friends and their room was the same sort of box room too.
After complaning we were both given new rooms which were quite spacious amd comfortable.
The decor was a bit tired throughout the hotel and a refurb was overdue. The hot water seemed to run out in the morning so if tou're a late riser you'll have a warm shower, plenty of hot water in the evening tho.
Plus side to the hotel was very friendly and helpful staff near to the Terminous and the breakfast was continental style and very nice and plenty of it.
On arrival at the airport there were plenty of buses to whisk you into the heart of Rome for only 4 to 6 Euros.

Room Tip: Ask for one of the bigger rooms!

After reading the reviews that other people had left i didnt think it will be as bad. The hotel is rated as a 4* and maybe it was a four star when it was first open but it hasnt been touched since. Our room had some kind of air conditioning but we were afraid to use it because the vents looked like they were never cleaned. We didnt have hot water for one whole day. The breakfast was very poor, bread rolls were not fresh. The olny good thing about this hotel is the location because it is only 5 min away from termini station. To be honest i didnt think that in a 4* hotel there could be no hot water.

This hotel has not been refurbished as some review sites suggest. It is very central to Termini Station but that's really all it has to offer as a reason to book it. I'm not a snob but I was expecting 4* and that's not what we got for the money we spent. The towels and linen are old and frayed. The hotel bar and coffee lounge are never open. The shower attachment was broken and the WC brush - well, I'll leave that to your imagination. Overall this hotel is rated as a 4* but personally I would rate it as a 2/3*. My suggestion is book somewhere else.

This hotel is ideally located only 2 mins from the main Termini Station and walking distance to the main tourist locations around Rome. The price was very competitive compared to other hotels and we had a really enjoyable stay here. The staff were very friendly and despite our attempts to speak Italian were very fluent and welcoming in speaking English. The room was just as expected from the photos online, very charming and ideal for a short stay in Rome. Unlike other travellers we don't spend our time taking endless pointless photos of the hotel acting like we are professional hotel critics. We went to Rome to visit the historic buildings and to experience the culture of Rome, and spent very little time in the hotel itself.

The bed was extremely comfortable, in fact we over slept breakfast on the first day it was that comfy. Breakfast was continental and an ideal starter for the day with a good view over the city. The bathroom was clean and well maintained by the daily cleaner.

There are plenty of restaurants nearby so dinner was not so far away on an evening.

Overall a lovely quaint hotel perfectly suited for a short city break in Rome. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a short stay in the city.
