“Fantastic Hotel 5 star in everyway!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

As a travel agent, for over 30 years, I have travelled thw world and stayed in many great hotels, but the Boscolo is one of the nicest...definitely a 5 star, service, rooms, facilities, try the saunas and massages, they are amazing. Upon entering, you can not help but be impressed and it contiunes throughout the hotel. Walk over a glass floor and view ruins discovered during a renovation! How cool is that. Breakfast was one of the better I had in Rome, a wide assortment of secltions, you could not go hungry! Roof top with pool over looking the city is a wow factor. Request a room over looking the front fountain, with small balacony at night it comes alive.

We had lunch at Tazio Restaurant Champagne Bar next to the Exedra luxury hotel which is next to the Piazza Repubblica (yes it has 2 'b's), and its apparently known as Piazza Esedra, which is next to the famous Fountain of the Naiads. Pizza was good. Not pretentious but stylish. RECOMMEND.

The building’s architecture was amazing and beautiful from the inside to out. The room was clean and big, but it can definitely use an update. The location of the hotel was a great to roam around. The customer service can use some tuning up as well.

The hotel is central to most of Rome sites and activities. It is quite grand arriving. There are lots of men who work for the hotel hanging around front entrance smoking, which is quite unusual for a 5 star hotel.
The underground near to hotel has two lines which unfortunately doesn't connect the entire city, however its clean, efficient and moves quite quickly
.
The staff at front desk are helpful and quite friendly, including the concierge staff. The rooms are large for the most part however overated. For a 5 star hotel the rooms and bathrooms need updating and a thorough cleaning especially the rugs. The window in our room was quite old, therefore the noise from the traffic was disturbing.
The breakfast is overwhelming with many choices of different wonderful foods. There are too many staff members, therefore much confusion regarding who does what and when. Seems lacking in leadership and direction. There were many of the foods empty when we arrived and had to ask for certain things to be replenished. The cappuccino was served so hot one could not drink it! (ashamed for an Italian establishment.) Was certainly overpriced. I would suggest having breakfast in the bar in the piazza to left of hotel.

Our stay at the Boscolo was outstanding from start to finish. The service was excellent and the room was one of the Nicest I have ever stayed in. The staff was very helpful to foreigners. The included breakfast was to die for. If you stay here you will not be disappointed.

We stayed for 3 nights. Had a great room, very spacious. Reception staff very welcoming.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Concierge staff are brilliant, very knowledgable and helpful.
Breakfast a little pricey if you don't have it included.
Overall very very nice Hotel. Would definitely return .
