The hotel is close to public transportation, but you do need transportation to get to all of the popular tourists sites. Overall, the hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The internet worked fine for me but some of my travel companions had problems accessing the internet with any regularity. I would definitely stay there again.

Me and my best friend stayed at this hotel in June and although this isn't in the centre of Rome, its ideal. There are buses just down the road from the hotel (2 mins walk) that take you into Rome centre (very cheap but busy so you may have to stand) so at the end of a busy day you come away from the busy centre (and most expensive) to find yourself in a very modern and relaxing hotel. There was free wifi in the nice clean bedroom with air conditioning which we needed as it was hot! We stayed for 3 nights bed and breakfast and had no complaints, staff friendly and helpful provide you with a map of the town and are happy to help with a query, For the price we paid this is a excellent modern 4 star hotel and I would stay again if I ever travel to Rome.

Trying to book a hotel in Rome mid September was a challenge and the prices posted on the internet sites never reflected the actual prices which were usually doubled.

This hotel is located in the Monte Sacro district a mere 20 minutes by bus to the hubbub of the city. We took the chance despite the location and it was the best decision. The hotel is a mish mash of connecting corridors and lovely surprises around each corner. There is an outside patio connected to the breakfast area which we discovered on our last day.

Breakfast was included and was a great offering of cheeses, fruit, cold cuts, croissants, yogurt, cereal and an expresso maker for fresh brewed coffee. Cannot compare to other hotels but from the reviews posted prior, this was far above the usual expectation. Since we checked out at 5 a.m., they even offered us a little breakfast bag with fruit, crackers and spread.

STAFF - exceptionally helpful and friendly and very accommodating.

ROOM- adequate for our purposes, great bed and large bathroom. Beware, if you are North American size, the shower cabin can be tight so whatever you do, don't drop the soap.

LOCATION: very accessible by bus (only 1.5 euros) and they are frequent. Apparently Sempione stop is the last one where the bus turns around. The hotel also has a taxi service for 60 euros which is not unreasonable. The area is residential and its worth taking a wander around to see some of the beautiful homes and landscaping. It was cool to just watch people carrying on with daily lives, loading up their motorcycles with groceries, chatting on the streets and enjoying the warm weather on patios.

FOOD- the hotel recommended two family restaurants. We chose the Citta Giardino. Had the mussels and grilled calamari. Seems to be a favorite with visitors as it was full.

I would recommend this hotel for anyone who prefers a quiet evening after the madness at the Vatican, Colliseum and other sites.

Room Tip: 308 had a little balcony and it seemed we were the only people in the hotel. Not an amazing view but quiet.

We spent 5 days in Rome after finding a deal with Travelzoo. I was a little nervous as we hadn't ever booked a holiday through them before, but I've got to say it was a fantastic holiday!!
The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. Can't fault them at all.
The location of the holiday was okay. A bus ride away from Rome, but for what we paid I can't complain. When you arrive at Termini, you need to catch the number 60 or 90 bus. We had a little trouble finding the hotel, but if you just ask someone they'll be able to direct you. The bus runs regularly, think the longest we waited was 10mins on the Sunday.
The breakfast at the hotel was lovely. Lots to choose from and the lady working there was also very friendly.
Rooms were basic and the bathroom was a little too small but you don't spend that much time at the hotel so it did the job.
Would recommend the hotel and would go back there again next time we go!

Arrived at the hotel after following the directions given by others on this site and we found it with no problem, but if we had no directions we would have got lost. The bus ride form Termini (number 90) was straightforward, but keep your eye on the bus stop names as not all of them are on the bus 'legend'.

Greeted by friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff, we arrived in our room (204 - good wifi access). The room (and the rest of the hotel) was very comfortable, clean, in a good state of repair and provided all we needed for a pleasant stay.

Breakfast comprised a good selection of bread, morning goods, cereal, yoghurt etc. Fruit juice was not freshly squeezed, but there was a nice surprise of scrambled egg. The bottle of sparkling water on each table was a really nice touch.

The roof terrace proved to be a super sun trap where we whiled a few hours.

Room Tip: 204 was a good room wit wifi that worked.
