“Wonderful stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 6, 2014 via mobile

My husband and I stayed here back in October 2013 and it was wonderful! Great service, beautiful location and pleasant owners. I forgot one of my favourite necklaces in the safe, they were kind enough to email me once they found it and mailed it back to Canada...I was so grateful for their honesty and huge hearts. Thanks again for making our stay in Rome so enjoyable

I chose this B&B because of the great reviews and the good price. I was very pleased with everything. Simone is very careful and contacted me before we arrived to let me know the best ways to get to the B&B and when to be there to welcome us. The room is very confortable and the building is nice (the elevetor is a plus). We booked the private outdoor bathroom room and it was a little less convenient but nothing to be annoyed about. Breakfast is self service and works just fine. We felt as we were actually living there. The neighborhood is lovely with restaurants, transportation and convenience stores. Thanks, Simone for the great stay. Hope to be back soon!

Room Tip: Chose the ones with enclosed bathroom, they are more comfortable.

It is a gem in Rome, good location, comfortable and newly refurbished B&B. The cream of the cake is Simone, he is a excellent host, gave excellent suggestions on directions and sightseeing. He is so kind and wonderful, even helping with our luggage down to the metro station on our day of departure by train to Florence! thank you Simone for our wonderful stay at Old Kitchen!

Stayed at old kitchen for 4 nights. Simone was very helpful and met us at the b & b late at night to explain everything to us. The accommodation is clean, cosmopolitan and I feel more of a place for younger people to stay. We are not old but would enjoy more comfort and have the owners on site. Although we had a private bathroom it was a little inconvenient being down the hall. street is very noisy but I would imagine that isn't unusual in Rome. I felt the bed was too firm so sleep wasn't too good during our stay. Breakfast was DIY but adequate. Location was very good as near to local transport.

Room Tip: I think one room has its own bathroom. I would recommend you check this out. It seems all rooms look...

I recently stayed at this B & B with my daughters aged 20 and 10 years old. It was excellent. Th rooms are large, clean and air-conditioned. The owners were very friendly, annotated maps for us to ,ake sure we knew how to get to the attractions we wanted to. The location is excellent for walking to the Vatican city and for hoping on busses or metro to all other locations. We also had a day where my 10 year old just could not face any more attraction, so Simone recommended the beach. He talked us through trains and buses taking us to the beach where we had a delightful day. I can highly recommend it.

The Old Kitchen B&B is a cozy get away for those wishing to be "just" outside of Rome's Center, close to the Vatican and near some AWESOME restos.

The owner and care taker, Simome, was truly friendly, caring and even shared his time with us out of the spirit of interest, not money !!!

We really as if we visited family. 200 % SUGGESTION
