This is a good value hotel with lovely rooms. The sheets were too scratchy. The location is excellent. The water pressure fabulous. The bathroom toiletries are like Chemistry set with a large variety if shampoos and lotions. Everything in the hotel room has numbers to be sure each room us well stocked! Even the slippers!!!
Overall thus hotel is a good value but not 5 star.

Dear Guest,

we deeply thank you for your very positive comments and feed back. We really appreciate the time you dedicated to us and your willingness to share your experience with all the potential guest. We are very satisfied you did enjoy your stay in Aleph and you found everything excellent and surprising. I will personally take care of the review of the laundry service for the sheets, and improve the quality perception taking inspiration from your note. Waiting for your coming back in Rome and Aleph!
Best Regards

We were booked there by some friends as we were meeting them for the weekend. Even though the staff is quite nice the accommodations were not those of a 5 star hotel. The room was extremely tiny, the bathroom was very very out dated (they had painted the bathtub white to refresh it but it was unacceptable). The television didn't work at all and lets not even begin talking about the Internet. To make a long story short, early next morning we left and stayed in the beautiful Hotel de Russie, a true 5 star hotel, in every sense of the word. We ended prolonging our weekend.

First trip to Europe. Traveled with adult family member. This hotel was the cream on the crop and I would LOVE to stay again. Theme is pretty hellish and cool. Walking distance to many great restaurants. Make sure to purchase the Roma Pass. Highlighted all the "need to see" sites and transportation included. Everything about Boscolo Aleph Luxury Hotel was ~ grand.

As others have mentioned, the location is great and the design is quirky and interesting. We stayed with our two small children and the hotel was perfectly fine accommodating them. We had to book a second room for them next to ours as they did not have adjoining rooms, and when the lights would not turn off the staff quickly came with a ladder to remedy the problem. Front desk was also very helpful. Bathrooms are funky design, but they do need a bit of freshening up. Then again, when you see how much grout there is to fix you can see why the hotel might put it off! The rooms were fine, and we slept very well. The views from the terrace are lovely. Breakfast was delicious and included with our room. Would certainly go back!

We've stayed in several Boscolo Hotels in the past. Last week, we stayed at the Aleph Boscolo in Rome. The hotel is situated in a quiet street near Piazza Barberini. Again, I was really impressed by the original architecture and interior design. I had been at Carlo IV in Prague and twice at New York Palace in Budapest. Although Aleph is a smaller hotel, I felt 'at home'. (My home is rather modest compared to these hotels though...) the staff was very friendly again. Our special thanks go to Carlo, the barman in the rooftop Angelo's Bar. He definitely passed my 'Whiskey Sour test' ;-).

Thanks again, We come back sooner or later.

billed as a 5 star hotel but i think this rating was taken back when it opened as it is definitely past it now and needs some work. Rooms are quite small and bathrooms can be fiddley. The front desk staff on the other hand are very very good, the man at the breakfast buffet however is quite gruff. Breakfast not very inspiring either however i dont think italians are very big into breakfast anyway. be careful of the mini bar also as beverages range from 6-10 euros, 6 euro is a lot for a can of coke or bottle of water!! other than that very good location but if your going to spend this kind of money try their other hotel the exedra which look better. oh mattress sucked also, had it changed but i think they just flipped it and it still sucked

The hotel is in a quiet street very near a busy piazza, it doesn't look particularly amazing from outside, but we had a gorgeous room, very comfortable, with a balcony and views over Rome's rooftops
Staff very friendly and helpful.
We were a big, sometimes noisy, party, but they went out of their way to help us with all our queries and needs.
Very close to many of Rome's main attractions, but quiet and comfortable for relaxation!
Very good breakfast
