Amazing place, clean and near to the railway station.
Rooms were comfortable, kind staff. Excellent position to visit Rome!
Cheap but don't you miss anything.
We have been there for a week and it was great!

The location is great. Really 2-3 minutes' walking to Termini station or metro station. A big supermarket nearby in the Termini station. Also numerous fast food options in the station.

The room is ok. Not too small. There are actually some artistic feeling thanks to the paintings on the wall. The decoration in the bathroom looks old-fashioned. The shower room is super small, which made it hard for me to turnaround. The hotel just occupies part of a floor in a 100-year old building (my perception) with old lift, but that's typical in Italy. Some rooms were under construction/ decoration, generating noise during daytime. Anyway, it's quite quiet during night.

Breakfast is ok. Just pastry, jam, milk, cereal, juice, coffee and tea. But that's not below my expectation too much. I'm satisfied as long as I can get free cappuccino from the coffee machine.

No free internet! It makes things not so convenient. But again, it seems to be the norm here. 2 euro/ hour, 4 euro/ 3 hours.

The receptionist in the morning is horrible. It seems that he hates everyone. He would not give you rooms upon check-in at 12:30 pm, although later I found there were actually rooms available. It seems that he just wants to wait to 1 pm and then it's none of his business. The one in the afternoon shift is much better and friendly. The one in the night shift is the best - very nice and helpful.

Room Tip: Try to avoid checking in before 1 pm so as to avoid the receptionist of the morning shift

This hotel is very nice. The guys are very friendly, and ready to provide you with all the infromation needed. The rooms are newely renovated and spacious. The location of the hotel is very close to the train station (termini) making things easoly accessible to you.

Room Tip: The hotel has very nice rooms and clean ones.

Rome Italy Sept 2013 Marco Polo, friend and I, ended up with bed bugs from this hotel it was that bad we had to seek medical help on returning home, when we reported it to Thomas cook they did an investigation and said they found nothing wrong, so my friend and I have never had this problem before so we decided never to give Thomas cook another thought just like they gave us. just be carefull and ask questions when going to places like this, beautifull city but discusting at the same time

Clean & comfortable. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Superb location. Terrific value for money. Quintessentially Italian feel to this hotel; great charm and atmosphere. I couldn't recommend Hotel Marco Polo highly enough. There is so much to do and see in Rome - I will certainly return to this great city and to this wonderful hotel.

The hotel is really close to Termini station, around 2-3 mins... The price of the room is really worth it. the room was clean, and the concierge was really friendly. But there was no internet. We need to pay extra for the wifi.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was simple not much to choose from. But the location of the hotel was just great. Just as you get out of your hotel , to your left hand side( not even 5 minutes walk) you will find the train terminal which has the long distance trains, if you wish to go out of Rome.
Very close by you will you will also the Bus terminal , which has long distance buses as well as local ones. You will also get airport transfer buses from near by. You have the choice of taking the train or the bus to the airport. The train will cost you about Eur 12., where as the coach will take Eur 6. So overall, not a bad hotel, considering all these options that one gets within its vicinity!
