“There are not enough stars to rate this B&B”

Easily one of (if not the) best places I've stayed in all my travels and most of this was down to Michaela. What a host? She really welcomes you into her home and you couldn't ask for a more helpful, friendly host for your stay.

The B&B itself is nice, clean and the rooms are a good size. Our booking was mixed up due to an admin error so the first night we were in a twin room and then for the remaining three nights we were in the double en-suite room. The twin room had a shared bathroom which was a good size and kept very clean. The en-suite was a smaller bathroom but immaculately kept.

Location wise it's a bit of a trek from the centre of Rome but with a bus stop just round the corner and a Metro station 10 minute walk, it's easy to get around.

I would happily return to Rome and I would stay here every single time. I really can not speak highly enough of Michaela and her lovely little B&B.

Michaela was so helpful. She advised us some of the best sights to see, especially the view of the basilica through the keyhole. A bit of a walk but no problem. The first day there was a strike of the public transport system but Michaela showed us the walk up the river to the city. Feet are still a little sore but well worth it!!o

Room Tip: En suite with private shower

My Husband and I had a wonderful stay at Eco B&B. Michela, the owner, made our stay in Rome better than we had imagined. She made the booking process very easy, with open communication before we arrived via email, when we arrived she made sure that we were comfortable and that we had a good plan for Rome. She sat with us and told us of all the places that we should go and gave us a map to use for our holiday. The B&B was very comfortable, had Air Conditioning, and had a nice large bedroom. Breakfast was good and provided every morning. The location is about a 10 minute walk to the train and metro stops and was about a 15 minute commute on public transportation to most of the major sites. The neighborhood felt very safe with lots of restaurants and shops around. My husband and I had a wonderful trip in Rome and we enjoyed meeting Michela. We would recommend Eco B&B to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay on a budget.

Room Tip: My husband and I stayed in the Triple room which had a double bed and a single bed. We had a balcon...

We had an amazing stay at Eco B&B Marela in Rome. Aiming to stay within our budget, I found the B&B on Hostelworld.com for a really good price. Location was great with easy links to the centre by Tram or Bus but walkable via Trastevere with Restaurants, Shops and Bars. Rooms were clean, confortable, modern with professional touches you wouldn't expect from a small B&B. Breakfast was delicious everyday and we were invited to make ourselves at home. Michela was brilliant! She helped with a couple of requests I had before our stay and whilst we were there gave us so many reccomendations of places to eat, transport and sightseeing. She was so friendly and always happy to help. She definitely made our stay and I would reccommend Eco B&B Marela to everyone.

We highly recommend this place. It's really nice. It is located close to historical Rome. You can find a lot of affordable places to eat around B&B. Also Michela, the owner, make excellent breakfast and is very friendly and helpful. If we're ever in Rome again, we'll definitely stay at B&B Marela.

We had a lovely stay at Eco B+B Marela while in Rome. The B+B is very comfortable and Michela the owner really made us feel at home. She was so helpful and her suggestions for restaurants etc never let us down. We would definitely recommend this B+B for anyone planning on going to Rome and we wish Michela all the best of luck in the future.
