The hotel met all of our basic needs: a lovely breakfast with a lot of variety in a nice atmosphere that we again found in the sitting room reading and getting ready to discover Rome. Staff was helpful and also gave us ideas for stimulating museum palaces off tourist paths. Rooms have relaxing colors, we slept well on the firm bed and were able to catch up with international news on cnn and bbc. Even though their size was a bit small but normal for Europe, the shower was nice and comfortable and we had very clean room service.
We arrived with ease to everyplace we wanted to see by walking or bus. Recommended !

Room Tip: We booked directly by email and and were lucky to have one of the few rooms with terrace.

My first visit to Rome, but threw plenty of coins into Trevi, to ensure my return. Part of that is down to my stay at Corona, where I spent five nights. Great little hotel, love the market at the front door. Continental breakfast was very enjoyable. Staff most helpful throughout, Great recommendations. Rooms spotless,
Highly commended.
Will return.

I spent four nights at the Corona and I would suggest everyone to stay there.
The location was perfect, very closed to the city center and in a safe area with nice bars around via del boschetto.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the hotel staff welcoming and willing to give advise to discover such a great city like Rome.

I will come back to that hotel next time I will visit Rome.

The Hotel Corona was perfect for me, a solo traveller. I read many reviews before opting to stop here and was not disappointed. This Hotel is not the Ritz, was this hotel is perfect in location, clean, neat and tidy, basic accomodation. Shower was fine, bed was comfortable, and that ladies and gentlemen was all I needed because I wasnt stopping in the Hotel all day, I was out exploring. The location is East of Rome, with nearest tourist site the Coliseum. The staff were perfect. Different faces every day all eager to help, plus little old lady in charge of breakfast, continuously chatting at a staggering pace although no idea what she was saying but a smile every so often was always well received. Simple hotel, cheap, recommended.

Room Tip: The front of the Hotel is exposed to the early morning market traders, pick a rear room if possible.

The Corona Hotel was a wonderful place. The complimentary breakfasts were very tasty and there were many options available for all. The room was great, it was had two rooms with two beds in each and still had space to move about. (there was 4 of us). The bathroom was spacious, a tub and shower, very clean! The staircase was great to the various floors. The third floor door to the patio was open during the day, I was able to walk out and enjoy the plants, patio, and the sunshine, very peaceful.

Hotel Corona is located a couple blocks from train station and 1 hill from the Spanish Steps. Hotel is good for groups or travelers on a budget. good price value. Nice complete breakfast and very helpful staff. We had an airline luggage problem and they were very helpful in sorting out the situation. Comfortable rooms with lots of doubles and triples.

Room Tip: Small elevator so try for lower floor. Quiet street until around 8 am. when street market opens.
