Description: Sofia is our pet dog and mascot,…. a friendly and loving Jack Russell who accompanies us in our adventures. This is why we decided to give our most precious project her name! An intimate, family-run restaurant with very few rules of thumb: a menu which respects the seasons, using the finest of Italian produce, always fresh every day; traditional Italian recipes together with other dishes specially created by our chef, and inspired by the flavours and colours of Mediterranean cuisine; our desire that your lunch or dinner take place in intimate surroundings and make you “feel at home”.

The reviews were so positive for this restaurant that we were really looking forward to our lunch. Nice place, my first thought was "very ladies-who-lunch", lots of white with very feminine artwork on the walls. And, in fact, two Italian women were enjoying their salads when we went in. But it was actually almost exclusively Italian business people at lunch, many obviously regulars.

The service was very friendly. The menu looked interesting, but nothing lived up to expectations. My appetizer, a millefeuille, and pork main were both served barely warm. The pork was a beautiful cut, and generous, but almost flavorless and the mashed potatoes were wildly oversalted. My partner liked his beef dish better and loved the generous cheese plate.

We found this restaurant through TripAdvisor, as we were looking for a good eat for lunch when inn Rome, and we are really glad we have visited!

The restaurant is very easy to find .. it is on a main road in the heart of Rome, just off the Spanish steps. We went there for a nice plate of Italian pasta and we had some delicious tagliatelle with truffles. It was exquisite however not so much of a big portion, so I really do suggesst it for lunch rather than dinner. We did not have any dessert however, spying on other tables, it did look very delicious.

The restaurant is a petite place with reasonable prices and great value for money. Highly recommended!

My wife and I ate here tonight and enjoyed the food ,service and ambience immensely.
The chef has a very light and elegant touch.
The flavours of the main ingredients are enhanced and complimented with delicious subtle fruit flavours , rather than overwhelmed with heavy sauces .
My wife commented that her poached pears were the best she had tasted.
It,s not expensive and you are not forced to pay for bread water etc which you don,t want .
Five stars from us.
