Description: Sofia is our pet dog and mascot,…. a friendly and loving Jack Russell who accompanies us in our adventures. This is why we decided to give our most precious project her name! An intimate, family-run restaurant with very few rules of thumb: a menu which respects the seasons, using the finest of Italian produce, always fresh every day; traditional Italian recipes together with other dishes specially created by our chef, and inspired by the flavours and colours of Mediterranean cuisine; our desire that your lunch or dinner take place in intimate surroundings and make you “feel at home”.

We made a reservation just hours before and had no problems getting a seat. Food is amazing and the staff are super friendly!

“Delightful modern food”
Reviewed November 27, 2012 via mobile

My wife and I ate here tonight and enjoyed the food ,service and ambience immensely.
The chef has a very light and elegant touch.
The flavours of the main ingredients are enhanced and complimented with delicious subtle fruit flavours , rather than overwhelmed with heavy sauces .
My wife commented that her poached pears were the best she had tasted.
It,s not expensive and you are not forced to pay for bread water etc which you don,t want .
Five stars from us.

Reviewed November 24, 2012

Of you look for something different than THE Many touristic restaurants this is it! Very Nice interior and à super friendly and professional service. THE food was very light and delicious. Later on THE evening Many Romans came to dinner wich says enough about the quality.

“Ok, but disappointed”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

Maybe we came on a bad night. This was recommended by a friend who lives in Rome - he was very high on it. Reviews are good, so had high expectations. Staff/owners speak great English - I think everyone in the restaurant were tourists when we were there. Atmosphere is pleasant. Soup was very good. Main course - disappointing. Portions are small. Sliced meat was very tough (the person next to us sent it back - we were more polite). Fruit sauce accompanying meat was way too sweet and off the mark. A few items on the menu were unavailable; saw another customer upset about this as well. Dessert was average. They try very hard and this is evident. Some of flavors were quite good. Also note, this is a modern Italian cuisine type of place - you aren't going to get spaghetti and pizza here.

“It is overpriced, but it is better than the place next door.”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

I wouldn't go there again out of preference, but I struggled to find many half-decent restaurants to eat in in Rome. I had swordfish in Risotto flavoured with grapefruit, which rather than interesting just tasted wrong. The salads were good enough but that's not hard unlike the pasta which was a little too 'al dente' for me - but tasted ok, if a little bland. The steak was good but nothing out of this world. I think maybe people are getting a little carried away with their reviews of this place, but I can believe that maybe they haven't eaten anywhere nicer on their stay.
