Not sure if it is really the biggest rose garden, but it is simply awesome. We spend hours walking and sitting on the benches and took photos. It was very hot but could not get ourselves away. Colours and smells and beauty. Do not miss this. We had the garden almost for ourselves, only an hand full of other visitors.

At the foot of the Aventino, in the spring, will open the gates of one of Rome's most romantic gardens. A lot of 1100 species of roses bloom in a riot of colors and scents that make it even more valuable for nature and a place that is already magical place.
From here, in fact, you can enjoy a splendid view of the Circo Massimo and Colle del Palatino forgetting the city traffic.

A beautifully fragrant garden, and one I would recommend on your journey towards the famous keyhole or the Mouth of Truth. Hundreds of different varieties .... The fragrance is overwhelming. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon on a glorious Roman spring day. There are thousands of roses on display. The scent walking up the main path was almost overwhelming. The gardens are well set out and situated in a picturesque part if Rome - looking across the Circus Maximus to the Palantino. Well worth the visit for any gardener or even if you just enjoy flowers.

A must visit for flower lovers, especially rose lovers.
The gardeners will introduce many kinds of roses here as well as how to plant them. You may learn a couple of rose poems and buy some roses to carry home with you. We would prefer call this the garden of love.
