This little place is centered in front of St. Peter square very lovely. One thing for sure. Paper thin walls. Trust me when I say paper thin, I could he his snoring and EVERYTHING else. I would stay there again.

Situated right at the Vatican, this hotel is a quiet and comfortable retreat. Singles are small but well appointed and cozy. Breakfast is very good. Staff are very helpful. Only disappointment was that this hotel makes its roof terrace with views overlooking St. Peters a major promotional element. Unfortunately security concerns make most of the terrace inaccessible and the portion that was accessible was fully reserved by a private party. So if it’s the terrace photos on the website that grab you, check ahead.

This hotel is literally a stone's throw from St. Peter's Square. Quiet, clean, with the most helpful concierge ever (Sabrina), who went out of her way to help us see all we wanted to see. Lovely terrace with the dome of St. Peter's as a backdrop. Buffet breakfast included. Strongly recommend it for anyone visiting to see the Vatican. So convenient with some great family-run restaurants nearby too.

Residenzia di Paolo VI. A hotel directly across the street from Saint Peter’s Square and the Vatican. The accommodations were clean, simple and uncluttered. The breakfast buffet consisted of fresh fruits, fresh cheeses(provolone, mozzarella, Swiss) and all types of Italian breads and biscuits. There were breakfast meats( salami and hams). The pastries were wonderful. Viva la Roma!

If you want to stay near St Peter's Square, you can't get much closer. The staff are very friendly, and everyone at the desk spoke perfect English. The breakfast room is very nice, with a good assortment of pastries, fresh and cut fruits, there were boiled and scrambled eggs and slices of cheese and meats. The hotel has been nicely updated, bathroom fixtures are new and clean, beds are firm, and small in the deluxe twin rooms--but super typical for Europe. Registration is on third floor, and that isn't super clear at the ground floor entrance.

The hotel is good value for money, though beautiful, and right on the square. It has 2 buildings, one of them is overlooking the square and has a fantastic rooftop cafe/restaurant on top. Good for aperitive, tea, lunch etc.
