This hotel is a nice haven in the busy city. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean, although the bathroom in the regular rooms is a bit cramped, but that's a minor problem. Breakfast is nice, the coffee is wonderful! The staff is more than happy to help with directions, questions, suggestions and will even add in some great recommendations of their own.
I stayed here two separate times last year and will definitely stay here whenever I am in Rome.

I stayed in this Bed & Breakfast for 5 nights, location is great in central Rome, allowing to get to all the attractions easily, located 10 minutes walk from subway station La Repubblica.

Clean, staff is friendly, breakfast is decent and I would have rated this more, but there are issues:

1) Lies lose points with me: this is a Bed & Breakfast, not a hotel, it's on one floor, what seems to be refurbished apartments into rooms. Beyond the physical aspect, this is a B&B, so call it what it is

2) More important: there is no AC, it is "optional" at high extra charge, so when you are in Rome on hot days, you better be patient or sleep on the floor: as opening the windows is not an option, because the noise from traffic on the street is just crazy, even at midnight, it's a busy street, so you can't sleep, which is the main function that a B&B is supposed to provide: a good night of sleep to walk energized visiting the wonderful city of Rome.

For these reasons, I don't recommend it. It's beyond me how people gave this a rating of 3 or higher.

Room Tip: Don't come to this place!

Rome can be an expensive city and finding a good value hotel can be a challenge. How lucky my partner and I were to find Hotel Giuliana, which is located just 10 minutes walk from Termini station!

We were even luckier to receive a warm and friendly welcome. The owners used to live in the UK and therefore speak excellent English, as do their charming staff - nothing was too much trouble.

In terms of location, Hotel Giuliana isn't that close to the Centro Storico, however it is a 15-minute downhill walk to the Colosseum and around 20 minutes via back streets to the Trevi Fountain. If like us you enjoy walking around cities you'll be very happy with the location.

Rooms are up to the standard of some four star hotels we've stayed in, with comfortable beds and very clean. We wouldn't say it was luxurious but it is excellent for the price. Breakfast was perfectly adequate for our needs and served by a very cheerful lady indeed. You have to pay for the Wi-Fi, but you can't have everything.

Hotel Giuliana is one of those hidden gems that you feel delighted to have discovered. Serious travellers who want somewhere cosy, unpretentious, friendly and good value to stay while exploring Rome can do no better - we met a guest who was on her 12th stay at the hotel and it's not hard to see why.

This little family run hotel, within a few minutes walking distance to Roma Termini (trains, metro, buses, airport "navettas"), Sta. Maria Maggiore, the Roman Forum, and most great attractions in Rome has another great advantage to offer: you are always welcomed as an old friend returning for a visit. That really makes a difference!
They'll reccommend you the places they use to go, the shops they use to buy and the "trattorias" they use to eat. Not as a big hotel "concierge" but just like a good friend would do.
We appreciated very much the cleanliness, the great morning "cappuccino" and cornetto, the great location but most of all the kindness and attention of the hotel team.
Thanks to all of you, amici!

Room Tip: Our room was facing the via Depretis, with buses, cars and Vespas all the time, but the silence wind...

Hotel Giuliana is located right on the bus route an easy several stops from the train station which connects to the airport. The bed was hard and there was some street noise but the room was very conveniently located and reasonably priced. The wifi in the room was spotty and available about half of the time but was always available in the reception area. The breakfast was nice with fruit, pastry, yogurt, juice, and I think cereal options. The desk staff recommended restaurants each evening which were right on the mark walking distance, tasty, and reasonable. They also set up a tour to Pompeii for us which was very helpful. I would stay here again with no hesitation.

Room Tip: Avoid a room overlooking the street if you are a light sleeper

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent two night stay at the Hotel Giuliana. The family owners & entire staff were extremely friendly and helpful, including the recommendation of an excellent trattoria just around the corner from the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable & no issues or problems with the guest WIFI. The location is an easy walk from the Roma Termini train station and most of the major attractions in Rome. One tip - we booked our room directly through the hotel website, which seemed to offer the best rate. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel as a place to stay in Rome.

After years at Marriott, Hilton, and Holiday Inn properties worldwide this small family run hotel was a refreshing change. The attentive and informative staff provided a personal touch that made our first trip to Rome an unforgettable experience. The location was very convenient for walking to all the major attractions and shopping areas in central Rome with numerous dining options available nearby. A big thank you to Marianna, Ashwyn, and Antonio as well as the rest of the staff for their excellent recommendations and service!

Room Tip: Expect typical city noise.
