The hotel itself is okay (free wifi, free breakfast, pretty clean room considering the building is old) and the staff are very friendly but the location SUCKS. If you're staying for a short time in Rome, you will hate yourself for staying here. I am an American student and me and my friend (we're 2 college-aged girls btw) were in Rome for 3 days, and our commute to the actual city and sites took us about an hour each day- shuttle, bus, metro, all the works, and the hotel shuttle and bus are very unreliable. They say they'll come at a certain time and never will. The location is also what I call the "Detroit of Rome"- the minute I arrived to the hotel, I was welcomed by a group of legit prostitutes on the side of the road. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here. You can find a better location and it'll be worth the price if you can get to the city quicker.
