Wonderful, helpful staff on the main reception who are courteous and polite. Lovely interior, with a selection of rooms to lounge in while having a drink, coffee or reading the paper. Clean room, with great minibar and comfortable firm beds; extra pillows available as standard. Quiet at night, so able to sleep well. Hotel is tucked away in a quiet side street just up from the Pantheon and close to other ancient attractions. Will definitely be returning to see Rome, using this hotel. Super value too with excellent breakfast available.

Room Tip: It is a quiet, small hotel in a great location within 100 yds of the Pantheon. Enough said.

We have just returned from our trip to Rome, staying in Adriano and would definitely recommend this hotel.

We were staying in the Annex which was more private but still with all the facilities of the main hotel. We were in Room 502 which was well decorated, peaceful, clean, spacious, had a great shower, plenty of hanging space, Sky and a cute balcony with views of a typical Rome side street and buildings. Yes it is on the 4th floor but there is a tiny 2 man lift if you're not up to walking, but maybe not ideal for a family.

Breakfast was everything you could need - hot, cold foods, pastry’s, fruit and a wide selection of drinks and cereals. The staff were also very helpful if items had run out. The breakfast room had a serene ambiance and very clean and tidy.

The main attraction is the location of this hotel. We walked everywhere from here - Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Forum, The Vatican, Piazza Navona, Villa Borghese and were able to ask reception for directions, maps and recommendations.

All in all Rome was beautiful and helped greatly by a great Hotel one which we would definitely return to!!

Thank you Hotel Adriano!

Writing this after reading some of the previous reviews and as we're currently staying in this hotel we thought we'd share our opinion. Firstly, the hotel location is perfect, so close to a number of attractions especially the Piazza Navona, Pantheon and Spanish Steps and also the Trevi Fountain. The hotel is within an easy walking distance of the Colosseum and the Vatican City, the walk is very pleasant with lots more places of interest on route.

We are currently staying in superior room 328, it has everything you could possibly need for your stay. It's modern, the bed is comfortable and the shower is amazing!
Breakfast has pretty much everything you could want to start your day and the breakfast room has a lovely decor, the same can be said for the hotel lobby, lounge and bar. The staff are friendly and helpful especially when asking where the best place to find gelato is! Also the free wifi works perfectly fine within the hotel lobby and room.

This hotel is excellent value for money and we will be definitely be returning to stay here on our next trip to Rome.

I would not hesitate to recommend Hotel Adriano for a moment to anyone.
From the moment you walk in, you know the hotel is different.

The staff are courteous, polite & efficient.

The foyer and associated lounge areas are eclectic, quirky, arty and extremely welcoming.

You will feel at home in an instant.
Our room was clean and comfortable. The room staff anticipated needs, for example when I used the additional pillow, a second one appeared on the bed for my partner,

We will be back and we are already looking forward to it. There is also a lift in the hotel that is both working and functionally usable.

All round great value. Lots of fantastic eateries locally which are also very good value. Staff were helpful when needed. What you would expect for the price. Breakfast buffet was more than serviceable. Staff were helpful with recommendations of sites to visit. If back sometime would definitely stay again

Dear Guest ,

Thank you for your comments.

We are happy that you enjoyed your stay at Hotel Adriano.
We do not understand your sentence "what you would expect for the price", the price depends on the season and the typology of the room and obviously the number of stars the Hotel has and their services. The rating of the stars can vary from one locale to another. So when you say what you expect for the price it is based on your room and what you paid which could be different for other hotel guests.

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you how important it is for us to know the room number you chose and the period of your stay. People write to the public speaking about our Hotel and we would like to address them and their concerns about their stay, specifically when there are issues to correct.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience.
Best Regards

The Hotel Adriano is a great value for the location. You are minutes from the Pantheon and Piazza Navarro. There are really good restaurants right next to the hotel that have good prices. The hotel rooms are VERY small but that is to be expected in Europe. The room was clean. The mattress was very hard though. It was hard to sleep at first but I got used to it quickly. There is a good breakfast buffet every morning with a lot of selection. The front desk is hit or miss. We arrived at about 8:30 am with check in time being at 2 pm. The front desk worker rushed our room for us and we were in our room within 30 minutes. Other times the front desk wasn't nearly as helpful. At 4 am there was a woman screaming in the street outside our window. This carried on for almost an hour and no one went out to quiet her or make her leave. There is a considerable amount of street noise in the mornings so don't plan on sleeping in at all. Overall, I would recommend the hotel if you are trying to save money. Probably not the place if you are looking for a romantic stay as the rooms are not the nicest, but they are serviceable.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review on our Hotel Adriano.
Our location is undisputable.
In relation to the rooms and the prices we would like to clarify that we have three different typologies of rooms in which the size, decor, amenities and price vary. These choices can be easily made at the time of booking by looking at our web site which shows all the different rooms in our Hotel. This allows our guests to choose their rooms according to their budget while being located in a very central position in Rome. One can also choose interior rooms which are quieter.
About the mattress it is really a personal taste so we chose medium firm to accomodate the average person.
We take this opportunity to invite our guests to specify their room number so that we can more easily respond to their concerns, this is very important to us.
Thanks again
All the Best

My family and I loved this little place. It was hidden in some back streets which funnily enough was within 5- 10min from the via del corso. Breakfast wasn't bad although the toaster was busted when we were there. The only problem we had was with a male staff member walking into our room when the do not disturb sign was up, however we really couldn't fault the hotel. They were friendly, helpful and happily answered all our questions. We had a beautiful stay in Italy and wouldn't hesitate going back here.
