It was really crowded when we were there. For me it's not really that special other than a white oval building. The interesting part of Piazza della Repubblica is that a lot of painters selling their very own paintings at the terrace of the building. Who knows perhaps one of them will be the next Da Vinci!

Personally? I really like it. It has a very European feeling - that is, very spacious, in contrast with the alley of the center. Sure, it may not be the best thing in Rome, but it is worth a visit.

The piazza is a large traffic circle with a really nice fountain in the centre. The buildings around the piazza are very nice and one can spend some time sitting at the fountain in the evening.

Beautiful during the day and beautifully lit at night, Piazza della Repubblica is at the top of the Road from Via Nazionale, the metro is closeby as well as bus stops, shops and restaurants, at the bottom of the Road from the Piazza, you will find all the historical sites leading to the Colliseum

lovely piazza to sit and take a rest, very busy but good to see the people going about their daily work.
