We booked a weekend break at this hotel at the start of August but when we arrived the doors were shut and there was no sign of it being open! we called the phone number and there was no answer and a local shop owner said that it had been shut by the police. We were very disappointed and had nowhere to stay. Very disappointing.

Dear Sirs,

we apologize for the inconvenience, but the information you wrote is wrong.

The structure is closed FOR RENOVATION due to technical problems.

Our staff is informing all clients with advance notice. No one is left without an accomodation. All guests are relocated in another structure.

Obviously, if you call the phone number of the closed hotel nobody can answer you.
Have you phoned the Booking or Sales Department (you can find the number on our website)? These departments are promptly resolving the situation.

We remain at your disposal for any further information.

Best Regards

We stayed at the Trevi Palace Luxury Apartments in Rome in July 2013. The hotel arranged an airport pick up for us and when we arrived at the hotel at around 9.30 am, we were immediately given early access to our rooms which was very helpful as we were able to relax and have a few hours rest before we headed off out for the afternoon of exploring. Although we had the use of a coffee machine outside our room, we requested a kettle for our room as we are both avid tea drinkers. The staff were very helpful and communicated well in English. They were happy to book day trips and organise taxis for us during our stay. We bought a bottle of wine from a local bottleshop so we could take it with us on an evening stroll around the city and enjoy it "people watching" on the Spanish Steps nearby. The receptionist gave us a bottle opener and two glasses from the hotel so we could enjoy our wine in style. The breakfast spread was good, especially the freshly baked pastries. The proximity of the hotel to the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon was ideal, there is a wide range of restaurants to choose from, a local Spar if you want to do buy pre-packed sandwiches, salads etc to take out and about with you and many shops for you to buy your souveneirs to take back home. We had a memorable holiday and Trevi Palace Apartments played a large part in making it so.

Stood here during 3 nights. we had fully paid booking for 3 persons-apartments, but on reception they tried to give us a room without windows, with glassy doors, on the first floor. I have to claim other room, then they change it without any word.
Very croudy on holidays! Cleanless, breakfasts - excellent!

Our 1st night the room had intermittent electricity, no working phone, no wifi, & was incredibly noisy all night long. We asked management for compensation but they ignored all our requests. They did change the room the 2nd night. Management couldn't care less about our comfort & we had booked 3 rooms for 3 days!very shocked with their attitude considering they are a 5 star.

I arrived at Trevi Palace Hotel on foot after a long plane journey. I couldn't believe it's proximity to Trevi fountain and the tourist action. However, once in my room I felt miles away. Hotel has been beautifully restored and rooms are spacious and comfortable, named after Italian renaissance painters. An old well in the dining room area has become a feature - a building steeped in history yet the massage, Turkish bath and sauna area brings you back to 21st century. Lush! Free massage for guests a bonus. Breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfasts I have experienced. Staff very friendly and accommodating. I would go back there in a flash. Get up really early for photo shoot at Trevi minus the multitude of tourists. Arriverderci Roma
