Don't miss visiting this beautiful church. You'll miss it if you're not looking for it. It used to be a convent, and looks like one from the outside. It's the interior with it's gothic arches, colorful ceiling frescos, and beautiful stained glass windows that makes it impressive. You'll also find some sculptures from famous Italian artists. Most notably Michelangelo's "Christ the Redeemer" statue and Bernini's "Memorial to Maria Raggi". It's definitely worth a look since it's just a hop, skip, and jump away from the Pantheon. It's also a nice peaceful get away from the crowds of people near by.

Being Gothic it made an interesting contrast to all the other architecture we had seen on the trip, and for that reason it's well worth the (minor) effort to find it, so close to the other major sights that a diversion is not a problem. Entry is free, so ignore (if you want to) the person holding the door open as you enter and proffering a basket for a donation. These mendicants seem to take shifts as when we left there was a different one in place.

When visiting the Pantheon don't miss this church. It is literally right behind the Pantheon. Easily identifiable by the elephant in the front. Inside is the treasure, a sculpture of Christ started by Michelangelo. You can walk up to and touch it and feel the whole in His feet. A great little hidden treasure. Not very crowded.

Another church on the list of what to see, this one is right next to the Pantheon. Look inside to see how beautiful if really is and how peaceful it is.
