While in Rome we should eat where Romans eat and that's what we did. The bartender Lorenzo at Flann Irish Pub suggested a neighborhood restaurant that's 2 stops from the end of the metro line. We showed up around 8 and the place was empty. We thought how good a place could this be. Lorenzo had said if you show up at 8 you will be the only one there, he was right. By 9 the place was packed. The owners spoke enough english to explain the menu. The food was fabulous. We had appetizers, pasta, seafood and a great peach dessert. The 2 and half hours flew by. We took a chance, made it into an adventure and ended up with the best meal we had in Italy.
