Stayed here at the end of March 2014. Basically, it's a nice small hotel with easy access to the restaurants and bars of Trastevere. Friendly and helpful staff on reception, nice room with view over the rooftops. The bedroom furniture was perhaps a little tired but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom enormous and recently refurbished all spotless. Breakfast was typical Italian fare - plenty to choose from and kept topped up - lots of sweet options. Public transport close by or an easy walk across The Tiber to the historic centre. We decided to take the train to Trastevere station from Fiumicino and the 3b bus from outside the station 5 stops to the hotel (get off when the bus turns right). This proved easy and was cheaper than traveling to Termini. The Roof top bar does not open until May or June but we sat up there and watched the sun go down with a picnic and a bottle of red from the local Carrefour Express across the road - perfect!

I had my doubts about this hotel, having read some of the reviews, but I am glad I chose it. For the price we paid we couldn't have asked for more. The staff were very kind too, they helped us book our tickets for the Sixtine Chapel. It is true that the breakfast could be improved, specially the coffee, being in Italy you wouldn't expect them to have such bad one, but I ordered a proper Italian coffee and no problem.

We stayed here for one night before we had to fly out, wished we had stayed a few more nights. Great location in old Rome. The location is a little off the beaten track but not far from all the restaurants, shopping, sights etc. The hotel is very well done. Our room was small but that is unimportant to us. It had a beautiful window with shudders and the view overlooked an old monastery, great sound of church bells. The washroom was bigger than the room with beautiful tile everywhere. Go up to the roof top patio, stunning views. There is a bar up there but was closed that time of year (end of May, 2013). We bought some lovely wine nearby and had a great time up there before we set out for dinner.

I stayed here a year ago...trastevere is breath taking. The rooms are small but nice and comfortable. The breakfast is really good.
The location is kind of far from some places (like the vatican or piazza spagna) but the public transport, like tram and buses, can take you to almost any place. I think it's better to stay in nice neighbourhood like trastevere than the hotels near to the train terminal (near to a lot of places but uglier than trastevere)

Excellent location in Trastevere. Quiet and inviting. Excellent value for money. Breakfast adequate but the rooms serve their purpose - comfortable and clean. Good reception and very helpful.
Well recommended and interesting bars and restaurants can be found nearby.

Room Tip: All rooms I would expect to be well located.

We stayed May 2011. We couldn't have picked a better hotel to start our 2 week vacation. Kind staff, decent sized bathrooms as far as traveling it Italy goes. The bed was a little firm, but the roof top space more than made up for it. Great location....we loved staying in Trastevere! The breakfast was probably the best out of all 5 hotels we stayed at during our trip. We booked this hotel because of the price and we were very happy with our choice. Would stay again.

In the Trastaverre neighborhood, which is safe and convenient to the Coliseum and other sites (20 min walk). Also a good selection of restaurants nearby and way cheaper than over the bridge in downtown area. Hotel clerks were very helpful with info.
