“Low Budget - high quality in an average area”
Reviewed September 14, 2012

We liked the Foodoo Restaurant a lot. Young people are doing a great job in cooking and serving the food. It looks not so cheap on the menu but once you see what you get compared to other restaurants in Rome I must admit it is outstanding.

Very good location about 600 m away from the Cavalieri Rome hotel (once you go out of the hotel - just turn right and take the next street half left. Go all the way down to the main street and turn left again. Another 200 m or so on the left side).

The restaurant would not fit for people who are too picky but once you concentrate on the food - I am sure everybody would like it. We took the Beef Steak with gnoggi.

“Really good”
Reviewed August 11, 2012

Walked from the Waldorf. Menu in Italian and some language issues, but we loved the place. Really a hopping scence after 10pm. Food was very good as was wine and beer. Not the best meal of your life but really good. If you are staying in this area don't go down into Rome to eat. Stay in the neighborhood.

“Best restaurant in Rome!”
Reviewed July 13, 2012

The "menu" is a bit different as antipasti, primeri and secondi are served in a same rectangular plate but tasted fantastic.
The waiter recommended us the toscan menu which had: 3 bite size steak tartare, gnocchi with meat sauce and steak with pepper corn sauce. It was exquisite and at 20 euros the menu, was a bargain. We also tried their artisans beers, which were amazing. The place is a bit off the beaten track and nothing much else around but well worth the detour.
