“Great B&B experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2013

Daniela and Marco are among the best B&B hosts because they are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, as well as interesting conversationalists. During our 5 night stay, we benefited from their recommendations regarding sites to see, public transportation directions and restaurants. Their rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is scrumptious.

We stayed at this wonderful B & B from October 15th to the 19th. We looked at other places closer to the centre of Rome, but my instinct told me to stick with this one; this B & B was by far the winner of all the places we stayed in during our 2 week stay in Italy. The tram is a 5-minute walk and brings you right to the centre.
There is a kitchen, which you are free to use anytime during the day or night. The breakfasts are plentiful and delicious. The outdoor rooftop terrace is a haven to come back to at the end of a long day, and offers spectacular views of the city. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean, and there is plenty of storage. On the walls you can admire the cheerful poetic artwork of Giuliano Gentile.

If you ever decide to visit Canada and more specifically, the beautiful province of Nova Scotia, please let us know.

Thank you again so very much! Merci beaucoup! Grazie mille!

PS: We had a couple of unfortunate incidents while in Rome…and if it wasn’t for Daniela and Marco and their warm smiles and genuine concern, we would have come back home with a bad memory of Rome.

Please beware of taxi drivers who try to rip you off and pickpockets…I don’t care how savvy a traveler you are, these people are professionals, be extra vigilant while in Rome.

This lovely B & B has to be seen to be believed. It truly deserves all the wonderful reviews people have given it. I can usually find fault with any place I stay in, but not this place run by two wonderful people, Daniela and Marco. Their warm welcome, happy smiles, generosity, great conversation, helpful advice and spotlessly clean rooms make this a B & B to remember. It is decorated with highly original and vibrant artwork. Only two rooms, each with its own separate bathroom (not en suite, but only two or three steps from the bedroom door), with good beds and lighting, nice linens, plenty of drawer and hanging space, and for guests an open refrigerator stocked with food, beer, sodas and juices. Off the breakfast room is a top floor terrace where the views out over the roof tops are lovely, especially as the sun sets. In fine weather this is where breakfast is served, and it is a fine affair. So many juices, fruits, pastries, meats and cheeses. Something different every day. Plus proper espresso coffee made to your liking. And all accompanied by great conversation with your two hosts. Don’t expect breakfast to be a quick affair. The location is also great, only a short walk to a very good tram service right into the heart of Rome, taking only 20 minutes or so. Daniela and Marco live in another apartment on this floor, so are always there if you need anything. Nothing is too much trouble for them. And their English is certainly better than my Italian! They know many of the local restaurants and can recommend a wide selection of places to eat. You can trust their judgment! If you stay here you will not be disappointed. But be warned – book well ahead as word has spread about what a wonderful place this is, and what really nice hosts Marco and Daniela are. This B & B sets new standards for excellence in hospitality. Try it!

Room Tip: The green room has a bigger bathroom so you might prefer this one. But it doesn't have a balcony...

We stayed with Daniela and Marco in September 2013. I have to agree with other reviews - this is a very special B&B. To be honest before booking we had thought about staying somewhere closer to the centre of Rome, but we were so glad we chose this B&B instead. The tram ride is easy to do and it was good to come home to a quieter neighbourhood in the evening.
This B&B is different from any other we have stayed in - you have your own key to come and go as you please, and there is a kitchen which you are free to use. So one night we brought in pizza and ate it out on the terrace as we were too tired to go out to dinner. A lovely experience.
Both Daniela and Marco are very helpful. One morning I appeared at breakfast with a card for a nearby restaurant in my hand - Marco immediately offered to book for us. Another morning I explained we were planning to visit Ostia Antica - Daniela investigated trains and buses and printed off a route for us, as well as quickly making up a couple of sandwiches to take away for lunch.
Yes - everything was spotless and very comfortable as other reviewers have said. We would not hesitate to book again. Thank you Marco and Daniela for making us so welcome!

We could not have picked a better place to stay in Rome! From the minute we stepped into the B&B we were made feel right at home! Daniela and Marco could not have been more welcoming or friendly towards us...a genuinely fantastic couple who looked after our every need! The B&B is in a perfect location for enjoying the wonderful city of Rome, just a few minutes walk from the tram which brings you right to the heart of the city in only a matter of minutes. Daniela took the time to tell us about all the sights of Rome, her recommended stops and the best way to get there...without her we would have been totally lost! Daniela and Marco have a wonderful B&B with spectacular views from the balcony, delicious freshly made breakfasts and immaculate rooms which are so beautifully decorated! The only disappointment we had is that we couldn't stay for longer! I would not consider staying anywhere else but here when I return to Rome in the future! Thank you so much Daniela and Marco for making our stay in Rome so enjoyable and so memorable....we'll be back!!! =)

I stayed here in July and enjoyed the B&B tremendously. Daniela and Marco are so lovely. They are committed to ensuring their guests are made feel very welcome. Marco even loaned me his camera when I was in desperate need. Imagine going to the Vatican and not having a camera.
Breakfast was great and enough to keep us going for hours.
Daniela spent time giving us a great overview of her city. She is so proud of. Great people.

Room Tip: All rooms are good, and very colourful
