“Great stay in Rome at Hotel Modigliani!”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

We had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Modigliani! We choose this hotel after a recommendation from family who had visited Rome last summer and we weren't disappointed! Friendly & helpful staff, great location and clean rooms. Great base for those heading to Rome for sightseeing, within walking distance of many of the major attractions and the Metro is at the bottom of the street and across the square which makes it easy to get wherever you need to go. Free wi-fi in the lobby was useful in the mornings when planning day ahead over breakfast which was also tasty! Would definitely recommend this hotel!

This well-located hotel in central Rome, a few minutes' walk from the Piazza di Spagna and other attractions offers excellent service in a modern facility including a free first class breakfast, Wifi service. The lobby and breakfast areas are quite attractive. Rooms are also stylish though in some cases very small offering a challenge to bigger and heavier people. Prices are however fair for central Rome and this may compensate for the smaller room. They do have larger rooms on the top floors sleeping up to four people. These are not much more expensive than the smaller rooms and may be worth the added expense.

This little hotel was in a nice part of the city which allowed us the freedom to explore without any concerns. Close enough restaurants/bars to make it convenient.

The front desk was helpful, although we didn't really ask much of them!
The sleeping rooms were fine, although the bathroom/shower was tiny. No complaints though. Everything was clean and in working order. Our room overlooked the street below. Not terribly busy so that wasn't a problem. All in all a good nights sleep. The bed was very comfortable.

The breakfast room was a trip favorite! So many delicious choices. Great coffee!

Room Tip: I think a room away from the road would be quieter!

The employees are really helpfull, they are always eager to help you.

It's a small hotel, but really well located, near Fontana de Trevi, Plaza Spagna, Via Veneto and the Metro.

Free Wifi it's free and works great.

I stayed in a room with a balcony, the room is small, but not uncomfortable.

This is a really delightful small hotel in a quiet street only minutes from the Barberini Metro and the Spanish Steps. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, the breakfast was delicious and the room clean and well equipped. We had a great stay.

Room Tip: Our room was at the front but on the 4th floor and the double glazing was very effective so we were...

The staff at this hotel really made our trip. Nothing was too much trouble and they went the extra mile with everything. The location is excellent, down a beautiful cobbled side street close to the Trevi Fountain and walkable to/from all parts of the city. There is also a Metro station at the bottom of the road if you need it. There are balconies in some rooms with a lovely view and there's a nice little garden to relax in when you're not out and about. It's all very clean and has everything you need including a computer to use with internet. The only downside is that the walls must be very thin as you can often hear people in others rooms moving around etc. so if you're a very light sleeper this hotel might not be for you. Everything else is superb and this hotel is a little gem!

Room Tip: Some have balconies over the garden which I would recommend.

Excellent location, clean, bright and cheerful little hotel. Staff was well trained, friendly and very helpful. Rooms were small, clean and simple with excelent showers and very quiet even with windows open- some overlooking a charming litle patio garden. A bountiful breakfast is served in a spacious and bright dining room which also serves drinks and light dinners. WIFI in all rooms. A very good value just steps away from a metro station and an easy walk to Trvi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the spectacular Capuchin church. We couldnt have been happier with this hotel.
