Visited in August 2013. Rome was HOT! The staff provided very attentive Service from Check in to check out. The room was nice and cool too. Breakfast was nice and had everything a reasonable person could want. We are early raisers so at 7:00 am you pretty much have the place to yourself, coffee was good too. Just like any other place if you treat with people respect you get respect. The Room was always nice and clean when we returned to it. Very close to the train station. You can hop on the A or B line and go pretty much anywhere you want in Rome or get on the main railway and get to Pisa for a quick day trip too like we did. It was all very convenient and comfortable in my opinion. The shower in our room was wonderful, it was like a cool spring rain! All in all a good visit!

Room Tip: There is a patio at the Hotel that you can get cocktails at night that is pretty fun after a long ni...

This is supposed to be a 4 star rating hotel, but I give it a 2 star rating from staff to the breakfast. Staff was not very friendly on check in and very unhelpful when questions were asked about room. Gave no explanation of why room was not ready and expected me to leave my bags in the room even thou I was not checked in. Did not put in a look up courtesy area but in my actual room where hotel cleaning staff, maintenance staff and other hotel guest had access to them as room door was open. No security on my bags. Hotel is very over priced for the amenities offered and you can get a hotel for half the price and very comparable across the street

About 10minute walk from Termini. Pleasant staff when checking in and leaving - very efficient. We arrived before 2pm but room was ready for us. Room spacious enough for the 2 of us. Balcony was a bonus. Good AC. Breakfast room not very large in size but enough choice of food for breakfast. We booked directly with hotel - very nice touch the bottle of complimentary Prosecco and chocolate on our first night. Only negative comment - no prices in room for mini bar. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: deluxe room very quiet with balcony and great AC

Well,... how to start, ... ho yeah!

Very poor service by the night clerk. This is the only thing I will remember from this "hotel", ... this person was very rude when asked you to change my sheets (see the point of bed).

Service: Some guys from the restaurant are nice,.. the rest they just do their job (don't leave tip is not worth it, as they don't appreciate it).

Food: Nothing to remember, only the salad was prepared the night before (not fresh) and no eggs or something more appetizing than the croissants (not too fresh).

Rooms: Very small and for the price you pay .... not worth it! also rooms that are facing the street are way too noisy. The only good point is that they are very clean.

Bed: The mattress is acceptable, even if it is a bit hard (but mild compared to other beds in Rome!) Seriously, what is wrong with you Roman citizens?. The big drawback are sheets, ... I was never in such an expensive hotel with so little quality sheets ... were the most scratchy I've played in my life! Even my boyfriend agreed with me. When the night clerk told us that there was nothing to do and we were free to go to another hotel (night clerk told us this cruelly mocking us) but we would have to pay for the 6 days of nuetra recervacion (it was charged nuetra card that night), we went back to the room and remove the covers to just sleep on the mattress and covertor (we could not really do more at 11 pm).

Bad points: Sheets, bad customer service, and a policy of no money back if you leave the hotel early (everything is cargaro to your card). and especially (in Rome in general) all people try to take advantage of tourists, ... Watch out for scammers!

Room Tip: never choose rooms facing the street!

I recently stayed at Hotel Alpi with 3 other friends. We were only staying the one night so we wanted a hotel close to the station and not too expensive. When we arrived, the check in went like clockwork and the man on reception was lovely, so my first impressions on this hotel were great.

When we got to our room, I was very disappointed at the size. Bearing in mind there were four of us sharing a 'family' room, there was barely enough room for even two of us. There were two double beds which took up all the space.

We went upstairs to the pleasant terrace to have pre-dinner drinks. The waiter was friendly but then when we asked for more drinks he started complaining about how over worked he was and was really fed up so we were made to feel that we should just go for dinner earlier than we had planned so we didn't annoy him!

All in all, if you want a conveniently located hotel and are not planning on spending much time in your room, then this hotel does the job. Would I stay here again? I'd probably shop around for somewhere else, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if I stayed here again.

10 minutes stroll from the front of the train at Rome Termini to the hotel on level albeit cobbled ground.
Delightful accomodation albeit we did not upgrade given we were only sleeping there.
Could not fault the place and the AC was brilliant given the outside temperature was close to 100 degrees fahrenheit!

Very friendly staff, perfect location - close to the train station. Huge bed and lots of space in a superior room. The only downside was the breakfast room which didn't have a window and felt a bit 'enclosed' (only a very minor negative!)
