This hotel is very cheap and has an OK location not too far away from the underground. The drawback is a very unhelpful staff. On several occasions we asked for simple advice or directions. No luck.

The breakfast buffet was simply horrible. It was supposed to be served until 10 AM, but arriving at 09:40 there was one piece of toast and two slices of cheese left for us. Not much of a buffet. The following days we preferred to dine elsewhere, even though the "breakfast" was included.

In reality this hotel is about three stars. If you expect a comfortable bed and clean towels, then you should be fine. If you expect anything more you would be better off somewhere else.

We had 1 week in this nice Hotel.
The room was fine and nice. The breakfast was correct, with normal variety and good coffee:) Personal were nice and friendly. The garden is really tiny and we didnt used it for anything.
The location is very-very good, because you can take metro-line B in 5 minutes or a tram to the vatican, or also the buses (not to mention the night-lines, 2 of them has a stop about 2 minutes walking-distance).
The Villa Torlonia is also beautiful to visit. There are also many beautiful villas in the neighborhood if you interested in architecture.
We had a bathroom problem (i cant really remember but the shower not worked), they gave us another room instead so it was good arranged. The Wifi was only accesible from the hall, what I find pretty annoying and poor constructed.
Summary: I find the hotel pretty good value choice for people who wants to hang out all day in Rome but also wants a pretty elegant and clean room with correct breakfast and affordable price.

It was a nice hotel, very traditionally decorated, little bit out from the centar, but only 3 minutes walk to the metro line B.
The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. The bathroom was pretty small but clean, with enough toiletries.
The free breakfast was great too -- ham, cheese, croissants, cereal...more than enough options to start the day. Free luggage storage even after checking-out from the hotel.
We got this hotel with a very good rate, so value for money was excelent.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms close to the elevator

Stayed at this hotel twice during out trip -- once upon arriving in Rome and once before our departure.

Though it's somewhat off the beaten path, I thought the location was really convenient. The B line metro stop is three blocks away and that goes directly to Termini station and to center. Also, because the hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, it was really easy to get a good night sleep. The area itself is pretty residential, but there are definitely a few cute restaurants nearby.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. The bathroom was pretty small, but hey, this is Europe. We stayed on the first floor and the wifi signal in our room was very strong. The free breakfast was great too -- ham, cheese, croissants, cereal -- more than enough options to start the day.

The staff at the front desk were lovely -- always had a smile ready for their guests and very helpful in answering questions or providing recommendations.

I would easily stay here again on my next visit to Rome.

We got this room after bidding on Priceline. We were thinking the hotel was OK after spending one night there - small, clean room, adequate breakfast. Then we went to dinner on night 2.
Our laptops were stolen from the room sometime between 7:45 PM and 10:10 PM while we were at dinner. The thief broke the lock on the door and ONLY took the laptops (not the Nikon camera). One was sitting out being charged but the other one was in a zipped up backpack. Clearly the thief knew exactly where to look. We made the front desk contact the Carabinieri who were very nice and helpful. The hotel manager was there but did not identify himself to us nor did he ever even apologize to us - in Italian or in English. We made a police report and the hotel told us they would contact us after they talked to their Insurance company - 10 days later we are still waiting to hear from them.

The hotel had a theft problem in 2009 (reported on trip Advisor) and obviously still do.

We stayed at this hotel during our honeymoon in Rome. Although it didn't have amenities that we often find in other 4 star hotels (pool, spa facilities, etc), it definitely served our purpose, since we solely wanted to explore Rome. Breakfast is amazing, the decor is stylish, and employees are quite cheerful and helpful. The hotel is set in a beautiful and rather quiet area when compared with the busy city! My only complaint was that the walls are paper-thin, and we could hear a couple constantly arguing in the room next to us during our entire 3 night stay.

I would recommend this hotel if you plan to discover Rome, but not if you'd like to spend your holiday in a hotel.

Stayed here for 4 nights with a large group. Hotel was very nice indeed and was a welcome relief at the end of a long stay away. The location was great - close to the Metro and handy to some great local places to eat.
Really enjoyed the breakfast - lots of variety available and good value. Rooms were really nice and I too was a bit intrigued by the towels but they did the job.
Nice quiet little bar to have a drink at the end of a busy day.
Would happily to stay again.

Room Tip: Rooms in the same wing as Reception seem to be nicer.
