Following a TA review, we tried this little gem of a place for some lunch on our first day in Rome it was just fabulous!

The staff, food and atmosphere are all fantastic - so good that we went there for my husband's birthday to enjoy some more of their delicious pizza and a cold beer.

Go there and I promise you won't regret it.

“Simply Amazing!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2012

My husband and I tried this place for take-out pizza. After travelling through Italy we had become a bit skeptical of pizza by the slice places, so we weren't expecting much. Since this place was close to our hotel and we were tired, we gave it a shot. Boy, were we happy we did!

The pizza selection was great, they had about 10 different types of pizza and more were emerging from the oven while we decided. We saw the usual fare (margherita, proscuitto, etc) but also some more interesting combinations (shrimp with a creamy sauce, potato pizza, etc). The pizzas are huge when baked and they charge you according to the weight of the slice they cut off, so if you have a really small or large appetite it's easy to get something that with meet your needs. We opted to try three types (shrimp with cream sauce, mushroom, and proscuitto with artichoke). The crust was thin and cooked perfectly, tomato sauce was fresh and bright (most of the pizzas had no cheese on them), ingredients simple and flavorful. To feed both of us for a light dinner (probably about 1.5 10" pizzas worth of food) came to 9.62 but the server rounded down to 9 for us since we didn't have 2 cents! :-)

Service was wonderful as well, the young man behind the counter spoke excellent English and explained the system to us and helped us decide how much to order, heated, and packed our pizzas to go. Friendly and efficient. My only regret is that we're leaving Rome in two days and that we didn't find the place earlier!

“Maestri Di Pizzie......”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 25, 2012

An authentic array of rustically composed Pizzie with crunchy crust, plump clumps of tomato, swirls of tangy cheese and every traditional permutation of vegetables, herbs and meat.
The diverse crowd of corporate execs, university students, railroad engineers, nuns, visitors and longtime local residents sets a well oxygenated setting to scarf down great pizzie with a short& solid selection of wine and beers.
Spirited service, authentic ingredients, traditional composed pies and a lively atmosphere wrap your slice here. These guys are the real deal......Sardinians making pizza in the Neapolitan "Quartieri Spagnoli" tradition.
