I'd rate this hotel better if breakfast wasn't so mediocre. I am an expat living near Rome but had to stay overnight in the city since I didn't have enough time to go back and forth home and chose it for a good value. In fact I have to say the room was good, the bathroom clean and big enough, AC working properly, free Wi-Fi, pleasant and helpful staff. However breakfast was really disappointing, no eggs, no sausages, only one type of cheese, ham wasn't inviting, no salami, three types of cereals, but they weren't the best either, only apples for fruits, yoghurt ok, there was tea, coffee, cappuccino, didn't touch the croissants though they looked good, btw I was a bit disappointed. However if you don't pay much attention to breakfast the hotel itself is good, quiet and budget friendly.

Hotel was very well situated for a short break to see the sights in Rome, about 10 minutes walk to the spanish steps area and 25 minutes to the Coloseum ,we also walked to the Vatican Museum in about 30 minutes,Situated unassumingly on a busy main road with shops and cafes near to hand including a burger King ,the railway station was about 10 to 15 minutes walk away .The hotel itself was good value for money and was clean ,very small reception area although staff i met were friendly and helpful,Most rooms were on the top 2 floors of 5 stories and thankfully the lift of which there was only one did work .Room was a little on the small side for 3 people but would have been fine for 2 it was clean enough and the bathroom was adequate .Breakfast room was too small and was a tight squeeze to sit yourself down ,food was ok ,I would say the location was excellent and the positives outweighed the negatives .For a short break this hotel fitted the bill ,perfectly.

Excellent location, metro and train station nearby, good breakfast
Very small bathroom and shower
Close to all city hotspots
We did not hear noise from the street, despite being located in a huge avenue...

Stayed here for four nights in May for my 40th birthday.found the hotel very easily and was only a short 20 minute walk from Termini station.
The hotel lobby is large and mainly empty, the reception is down a side corridor and very small but the staff were very friendly and helpful.we booked a tour of the Vatican museum with them which was a great afternoon out.
Getting to our room a porter took our luggage into a tiny lift and we stayed on the 5th floor.the room was a good size with plenty of room to move about.the bathroom was ok size however the shower was very small.it was a shower attachment above a bath.the temperature and pressure was good there just was hardly any room to stand under it and so had to take it off and use it handheld.
The bed was large and comfortable with blankets.
The breakfast was disappointing.ive had many continental style breakfasts but this only consisted of cheese, ham some croissants, donuts, small selection of fruit and cereal.no eggs, toast,or anything cooked or warm.
This didn't fill us up and we really didn't think it was worth it.
The location was good.we walked to all the major sites.colloseum and forum about 25 minutes away (forum was breathtaking). Spanish steps about the same distance.
There were hundreds of cafés and restaurants all over Rome.we chose to eat once at Piazza Navonne which was great and twice at Piazza del flori which was good also.
There is a spar supermarket just down the street from the hotel were we stocked up on beer and food for our room.
Overall a decent hotel in a good location for train station and the sites.only negatives for us were the breakfast and tiny shower.
The best thing we found in rome apart from the usual sites was the large park (campus martius) villa Bourghese.it was really stunning.statues line the walkways and plenty of fountains and secluded areas for picnics or to sunbathe.we found a boating lake which was beautiful and it was only 3 euros for 20 mins.there is a tortoise colony living in it and they are sunning on the rocks and swimming around.it was excellent.

The hotel was very close to all the attractions, it was very clean and comfortable. Downside was the breakfast room which is far to small. The morning receptionist was not very helpful compared to the gentleman on evenings who recommended the nearby Zeus restaurant which was great. I must say the positives did outweigh the negatives.

Room Tip: Room 535 had an excellent bathroom

Overall the location of this hotel, makes up for some of the shortfalls. Firstly, as some have said, the bathroom was very cramped, and the sideways approach to the toilet was a must. However the hotel was spotless, and allowed us to walk to all the landmarks and tourist areas that we wanted to visit. Our room overlooked the main street, which was busy, but certainly didn't stop us sleeping at night - maybe something to do with the amount of walking & red wine!!! Breakfast on Sat & Sun was very crowded, with tables not being cleared quickly enough, Mon however when the hotel was emptier was a different experience. Continental Breakfast was certainly sufficient to keep us going through the day. Hotel recommended a restaurant not far away, which we ate at the first night, and enjoyed so much, actually returned there for the other 2 nights as well - something we have never done before after a recommendation. Would recommend this hotel for a long weekend, as overall the positives far outweighted the negatives.

Located in a central area of Rome this hotel allows you to walk everywhere in the city centre, avoiding the need for overcrowded public transport.
The hotel reception is friendly with everyone speaking perfect English and offering super service.
Room 308 was very clean and tidy with a comfortable king sized bed, the mattress was firm but after a days walking the cobbled streets of Rome...I would have slept on a washing line!
The bathroom was a delight being large and well equipped. The room overlooked the back area iof the hotel, not the best view of Rome but it ensured the city noise was muted allowing a restful night.
Breakfast....... A vast array of cereals, rolls, cheeses, meats, pastries, yogurts etc welcome you......but be aware the breakfast room is so cramped sitting down is a test for anyone larger than an anorexic dwarf. A shame because the food was a delight to set you up for the day.
Immediately outside the hotel are many restaurants within an easy stagger allowing the foot weary blisters a rest .
For those wanting a central location that's clean, tidy and welcoming you could do a lot worse that stay at the Miami Hotel. We would most certainly return......

Room Tip: Try to get room 308
