I stayed at Hotel Siena from 10-13 Nov 2012, the rooms are small but have a clean and modern look and feel. The best part of the hotel is the location, it is near to the Trevi fountain(scenic with great pistachio ice-cream by San Crispino) and Spagna which is the shopping district for Rome. Overall it was a great stay, and you can borrow an umbrella from the hotel during wet weather. The staff are quite friendly and helpful with directions. Caution Note: (My room has a towel hanger which is also a heater and it came out during my stay try to turn it off if you can as it is hot.)

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in November 2012. It's small but the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is good. Its location is great. You can go to all historical places on foot! The only negative point is its very small elevator!

Stayed here solo for four nights in mid October 2012. Hotel is recently renovated with a modern decor. Best aspect is the location - walk to anywhere in the heart of Rome, great for night strolling after having hit the major attractions during the day. Staff is helpful and service oriented; not terribly chatty, but I wasn’t there to make friends with them. Overall hotel decor reminds of a boutique hotel - modern and stylish. I had a "double room for single person" room at 130 euros per night. Room was very small (appx 200 square feet / 19 sq m). Efficient use of the space allowed for a closet with ample storage space for all my items, and my suitcase stored out of the way, but still openable on a stand. Safe provided at no charge. Decor was bleached hardwood flooring, padded headboard, no footboard, small black laminate desk, two phones (one on desk on in bathroom), white linens and walls. Mattress was firm and confortable, bedding was soft and felt high end. I'm 6'2 / 188 cm and the bed ended around my mid/lower calf - it was OK for four nights, but certainly wouldn't want it as my own bed at home. I slept diagonally sometimes. The bathroom was very small - about 5'x6' (152cmX183cm) and it contained a sink, shower, bidet and toilet. It you are on the really heavy side (275lbs / 125kg +), you'll have a hard time sitting on the toilet or using the shower. The bathroom too was of very modern / chique decor with small green glass tiles, as seen in many of the hotel images. The air conditioning blew softly, even on high and the room ran a little hot for US standards as I had the A/C cranked to as cold as it could get, but I never felt like it was uncomfortable and most days were 80F / 26C. The room was extremely clean and everything functioned well. Breakfast was various dessert like cakes and breads, croissants, yoghurt, orange juice, salami and cheese; all of which I found to be of good quality and taste, but nothing exceptional. Overall I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Siena and at 130 euros per night, you can’t beat the price for the location and quality.

Stayed for three nights in October. Staff very friendly, all speak English, Rita was the best! Breakfast was very good and included in the price. The hotel has only 21 rooms, a very nice feel about it. You book hotel Sienna for the location, we walked every where. Good value in a city that can get expensive.

We stayed here two nights on our return from Capri. The hotel location was excellent mere steps from the Trevi Fountain. The hotel is located on a street that does not allow cars so it is very quiet at night! The hotel is the Roman version of a NYC boutique style hotel - it is very stylish and has a nice modern interior (Italian not North American style). Our hotel room was the smallest type - not large - but very well designed with a lot of storage so it was very comfortable for two people. The room was exceptionally clean. The buffet breakfast was very good and the cappucinos were great!! Gianni at the front desk was the best, so helpful providing us with a map and offering all sorts of suggestions to make our stay more enjoyable. This a great hotel in a good location - we would definitely stay here again!!

Room Tip: If you like a larger room do not stay in the smallest room size!

Siena hotel is a small boutique hotel. We spent 7 nights there and we're really pleased. First of all, the location is perfect, you can walk almost everywhere. Now in August it's extremely hot in Rome and not all hotels and restaurants have air condition so this was also a big advantage for us. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast. We also had a safe in our room. Which helped a lot. All in all we really enjoyed it and would recommend to others!
