“Do as the Romans Do”
Reviewed November 30, 2012

That's what I was looking for when I'm arrived in Rome !
A perfect location, walking distance from Piazza Barberini and Piazza di Espagna: living in a beautiful old fashioned Building as the romans do.
Hotel's Crew was very helpful giving us informations about good nightlife and particular locations to visit . (we've been in Coppede , behind parioli Area)
thanks David, point of reference of Embassy Hotel, also for the incredible and emotional tips he gave us, we discovered a different , vibrant Rome !!!

Room Tip: Room 449 on 4th Floor, clean carpet and silence during the night

We recently stayed at this hotel and found both the hotel and the situation to be excellent. It is very close to many main attractions. The room was well appointed with very interesting lighting - took us a while to work out the switches to everything. The breakfast was very good and more than adequate. Found a lovely little Italian restaurant nearby for a great dinner. The staff at reception were more than helpful, very friendly and their English was very good. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

The Hotel Embassy is runned by an all very friendly staff. Considering hotel prices in Rome, it offers value for money. The price of the rooms reflect its basic standard, as does the too modest breakfast: only marmalade as sandwich filling.
The hotel is well located outside the main track of tourism, on walking distance from the railway station Termini and the bus stops of all site seeing tour operators.

Room Tip: avoid a room at the third floor near the breakfast room (it's rather noisy when close, from 06.0...

This hotel is a nice well located alternative when you do not want to spend to much money for accomodation. Good position all the sights within walking distance , smaller rooms, but just to sleep , clean rooms, Typical Italian sweet breakfast - but we have been advised when booking so you do not mind, friendly staff,

Hotel in a shared building so reception on the lower floor and actual hotel rooms on 3rd & 4th floors. Rooms compact but very clean and bed comfortable, Minibar and flat screen TV in rooms. Compact shower but perfectly adequate toilet and wash basin. Bizarrely the water closet, when flushed splashes (clean) water over those using the wash basin.
Basic, but adequate continental breakfast - croissants, toast, cereals, jams, coffee, water.
Staff very pleasant and helpful.
Plenty of good restaurants in the immediate vicinity - we ate for four evenings in restaurants within 300 metres of the hotel. All good though different price bands.
Air conditioned rooms. Our room looked over a courtyard so quite dark and traffic noise baffled with windows close at night.
Wifi on each floor though reception better in the communal areas on each floor than in rooms. Computer to use in main reception area.
Close to the Republica Metro.
No slight on the hotel that warned us on pickpockets on the underground but watch out for small children or pregnant women holding babies with a yound girl blocking access on Metro.
Recommended.

Room Tip: Room 449 small but comfortable overlooking a courtyard. Our friends had a bigger room (447 I think...

This hotel is in a very quiet and safe location. The staff are very helpful. One of our rooms was very small, and the shower tray did take a while to drain and the bathroom was tiny. However the room was clean and very cool (essential efficient air conditioning supplied). If you are looking for a safe good base to explore Rome this is a good choice, if you want a bit more luxury then go somewhere else! There are excellent restaurants and small shops nearby. The breakfast room was pleasant and the food good.

Room Tip: The room at the back of the hotel was bigger, the one looking onto street much smaller.
