“Superb boutique hotel”
Reviewed June 13, 2013

This hotel is a real find. Within a 5 minute walk of Roma Termini & metro line, close to restaurants, a perfect location from which to explore Rome. The hotel has 11 charming rooms on two floors; rooms characterized by high ceilings, modern bathrooms, in-room safe, a/c, flat screen TV, and free wireless internet. My only complaint is that the pillows & bed were a little hard for my preference, although other family members did not share my opinion. The entry to the third floor reception via a turn of the century elevator added to the charm. The rooftop terrace was a nice place to relax with a glass of wine while planning the next tour. Breakfast is a nice variety of pastries, cereal, cheeses, meats, fresh juice and fruit, and delicious cappuccino. The staff couldn't be more friendly nor helpful, always ready with a map and directions, recommendations for wonderful restaurants I would have likely never found on my own, and sightseeing both on & off the usual tourist tract.

Donato, Roberto, and the rest of the staff are incredibly helpful and cheerful. When they found out we were on our honeymoon, they offered us a bottle of prosecco, which we enjoyed on a nice, open-air patio on the 5th floor. They told us of a place to go (not in the guide books) for a great view of the city. The rooms are small, but they are elegant.

We booked apartment no.11 and were so happy on arrival to see this beautiful, well appointed apartment. Breakfast was provided for, ample food, very generous in all respects, different coffees, teas, plenty of milk and cereal. Luxury is the word. It was in a very convenient location, walking distance to all of the tourist sights and supermarkets etc. The old lift was quirky and cute but worked very well. We were transferred happily from the airport and met on arrival with loads of information and useful maps etc. I would highly recommend staying here, we were with two couples and a small child and plenty of room. bathroom was awesome as well with a spa after a long day trekking through Rome.

The hotel gave us an option of a 2 bedroom apartment perfectly located to work to all the places you want to see in Rome - Vatican, Shopping and Spanish Steps and even the Coliseum. We had plenty of room for 2 couples, a stocked kitchen and terrific food choices within a couple of blocks. Highly recommend.

Hotel was wonderful opener to our 2 weeks in Italy... Location cannot be beat as close to train station and Metro stop. Robert was wonderful, always so friendly and accommodating. There were six of us in two rooms. Lived the outdoor patio where we could congregate and just relax in a beautiful setting. Great breakfast fixings as well. Will stay here again.

This little hotel is in a very convenient location -- you can easily walk to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Coliseum, etc. the hotel itself is charming, very clean, lovely breakfast, and excellent service. They have a pretty patio on the roof which is a great spot for a glass of wine after dinner. We would definitely stay here again!

My mother, sister, and I stayed here for 2 nights, one at the beginning of our Italy trip and one at the end. This has been my third time staying at this beautiful hotel and I am hoping it won't be the last. I have written reviews previously so this will be a brief one. I wanted to mention that this is the first time we have used the train system in Italy. The location of the hotel was great for us when accessing the train. We walked, with our luggage, and it took us about 10 - 15 minutes - very easy to find the Termini.
The triple suite was perfect - my sister and I shared a king sized bed and my mother had a single bed. There was still room for a table and chairs, and a wardrobe. There was a safe, and a hairdryer, as well as a kettle, but the staff were happy to make coffee or tea at any time. Our bathroom was big by European standards and it was the only one on our trip that had a fabulous jacuzzi tub.
There were lots of shops and restaurants nearby and the staff were happy to make recommendations and reservations for us. There was a grocery nearby and although we didn't use it this time, we did previously and could store cold items in the bar size fridge.
We did have the hotel arrange a driver to pick us up at the airport which was especially helpful when we arrived from Canada jet lagged. The driver was there on time, with a clean vehicle, and it was nice to not have to worry about finding the hotel ourselves. The fee for 3 adults was 55 euros.
It took us about 15 minutes to walk to the Trevi fountain or the Spanish steps.
We could not ask for better staff than the ones at this hotel. Every single one was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Emails were answered promptly which made planning easy.
I strongly recommend this hotel.
