My wife and myself stayed at this small hotel from Dec 29th to Jan 3rd, all that has been written before is correct regarding this establishment. Rooms spotlessly clean, location excellent, staff super friendly and helpful.
The owners even provided champagne and snacks over the festive period which was a nice touch.
Would definitely stay here agin if we ever returned to Rome.

We spent four wonderful evenings at the Residenza Cellini - Our rooms were upholstered very nicely, new mattress, clean, up to date bath, friendly atmosphere, helpful staff, nice breakfast and lovely guest to share it with...

Room Tip: In the winter months, I would advise the 3rd floor rooms, as you do drop your key there and have the...

We arrived on Christmas Day when the majority of the city was shut down. They had arranged transport from Fiumicino to the hotel, and had the rooms ready when we arrived (well before the check-in time). Fresh flowers and a bowl of candies on the table in the room were a lovely surprise, and the staff was helpful beyond anything I could have imagined, to the point that the chambermaid took a half-drunk bottle of wine from the room while we were out and put it in the refrigerator at reception so it was at a good temperature when we returned. The reception staff was extremely helpful and met any request we had. A standard continental breakfast met us each morning, and they set up spumanti and panettone on New Years Eve for guests going out for and returning from the festivities. Free wi-fi in the rooms and very comfortable beds were added benefits.

Room Tip: Heed the advice posted in the lift: no more than three people at a time or you'll have a half-fo...

We were me, my wife and 17 year old son so we got a 'triple suite' - one decent size room with a king bed - very comfortable - and a single. Most outstanding was that this place is spotlessly clean in the room and bathroom, the hallways, dining room etc. This was very important to us and from what I've read not to be taken for granted in Rome. Room has a safe and bathroom pretty up to date and very comfortable.
It is in a building with offices and two other small hotels (I can't understand why they don't consolidate) and there is one very small elevator and reception and the dining room and the most of the rooms are on a different floor, so if you hate climbing stairs this may not be for you.
We paid cash and overall I thought a good value;

- Good location, buses/metros easily accessible
- Neat rooms which were cleaned everyday
- Modern bathroom
- Extremely friendly staff
- Decent breakfast spread

Rooms are available on the 5th and 3rd floor, it is more convenient to get one on the 3rd floor since one has to drop-off the key on the 3rd floor before going out.

My wife and I chose Residenza Cellini for our stay in Rome after reviewing all of the great comments by previous guests. We were favorably impressed! We asked for them to arrange for a car to pick us up at the FCO Airport, which was waiting for us, and took us to the hotel in a prompt and efficient manner. The elevator, while small, was adequate for us to fit our luggage in one trip.
Our reception was friendly and cordial, as were all of our dealings with the hotel staff. As it was our anniversary, I had requested flowers, wine, snacks and bath salts upon arrival at our Junior Suite. Everything was perfect, as we had ordered.
Our stay was comfortable, QUIET, which is not common in Rome, and the suite was clean and very enjoyable.
When Robert learned that it was our anniversary, he arranged for a complimentary bottle of wine to be delivered to our room.
Breakfast was great with coffee prepared to order and a variety of breads, cheeses, cold cuts, fruit, yogurt and cereal.
As we were going to take a cruise from Civitavecchia, we asked for transportation to be arranged to the port. The driver arrived 15 minutes early, handled our luggage, and took us to the cruise ship without exceeding the speed limit. Kudos!
I can only say that we look forward to staying at Residenza Cellini in the future, and will recommend it to our friends.
I do not know how you mange to provide such excellent service with so few rooms, but we loved it and will return!
