Probably just scrapes into 4 star category (after all it is Europe). Comfortable and clean hotel. Good breakfast, and very helpful reception staff. Great location (even with luggage) 2 blocks from Rome Termani. Easy walk in good weather. Stayed 2 nights after return from a cruise. Traveled by train from Civitavecchia and then returned to Airport. Comforable walk to Colosseum, Roman baths, markets and forum, art museum as well as plenty of churches / cathedrals within locality.

Stayed here in November 2012. Nice hotel, pleasant staff and good breakfast. The roof garden is closed during November though.
However, the best thing was a restaurant at the end of the street.
When coming out of the hotel look to the right and there is a Pizza Wine Bar, the street dead ends into it. Run by a family - mother and son for lunch and father and son for dinner. Great food and alot of it for the price. Very helpful and will substitute items for you. Great wine!!!

Room Tip: Close to the train station. Noisy for rooms that face the alley at night if you want your window op...

We stayed at Hotel Diana Roof Garden from Dec 20th/23, 2012 and from Dec31st to Jan 1st, 2013, 4 people, two rooms. Both rooms I stayed were spacious, with comfortable and well appointed bathrooms, very clean and well kept by the maids. Breakfast was very good, at the restaurant at the 7th floor (We did not see the roof garden. It was winter and the temperatures were below or very near 0C). The staff is very helpful and good English is spoken, even by the bell boy who helps with problems in your room. Rooms are quiet, even the ones facing the street. There are good restaurants and pizzerias nearby. There is free mineral water in the mini bar.
I do not give a 5 star ratings because of the following negative points:
1. Wifi was very poor at the lobby and not working at all on the first room I stayed. They do not charge for it, but anyway, you can barely use it in the lobby. It worked erratically, though, on the second room I stayed.
2. The elevator was always busy with groups of noisy adolescents going up and down at the busiest times of the day, making it very difficult for older people to reach the restaurant on the 7th floor.

Room Tip: Try to have one of the modernised rooms at the end of the halls. They are quieter.

We stayed here with family for new years and it is hardly a 4 star hotel. The rooms are very very tiny, bathrooms are so small it's hard to take a shower if you are not a size 0-4. The food is ok but nothing to write home about. the beds and the pillows are supper hard, I didn't sleep well at all even when exhausted from walking all day.
The location i good though, you are within walking distance from all major attractions.

Stayed here for a week in early July. Fantastic hotel, so central to everything, all within walking distance. HOT weather & even the hotel staff said it was unexpectedly hot, not cooling down much in the evenings. The staff were all friendly & helpful. The room was large, shame we had a view looking straight onto another building over an alleyway, but we hardly spent anytime in the room as we were out sight-seeing most of the day. There was a good selection at breakfast but we ate out every night as there were so many lovely outdoor eateries very close by & all very affordable, even though we'd been told Rome would be expensive. I would definitely go back again & stay here again too!

Dear Michela,

I really appreciate it! I have been impressed by your heartly hospitality. I'm pleased to say that my son and his wife will come back to Japan with an unobtainable experience they got in your hotel.

Kindest regards,
Masahiro
