I agree totally with Dolphirefighter below - this Hotel is very convnient for all the main sights and close to the main Termini train station for airport etc.
Hotel itself is kept very clean and is well run. Rooms are spacious and well designed with a handy dressing area which has pleanty of storage, mirror, safe draws etc. Air con and bathroom all modern and good working order.
Breakfast in the roof garden was always a welcome start to the day and there was pleanty of choice and the coffee etc was good, although from a machine. Roof top terrance was very nice for views of the city and pictures of all the sights.
If you are looking for a comfortable, convnient and reasonably priced Rome hotel, then this one is certainly one to consider.

Room Tip: The higher the room, the less noise, but all have good windows that cut out the noise. Air con in ou...

We spent three days here. This was a nice hotel located real close to the Termini station in Rome. We were within just a 10-15min walk to the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, the Forum, and most things within the Touristy parts of Rome. It was only a 10-15min Metro ride to the Vatican. We walked most of the City as it was very convenient. As far as the hotel went, It was a moderately decent hotel. The rooms have nice bathrooms, with bathtubs included. They had the restaurant on the roof that looked pretty decent, but we didn't actually eat there. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help us out with everything we needed. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because they turn off the A/C during the day and you have no control over it. The room was very hot during the day, but we really didn't spend much time their during the day so it really didn't matter. Good place to stay

Just got back from 4 nights in Rome, can't fault the hotel. Great loction, a couple of min walk to the termini. All the major attractions of Rome are within walking distance.
The rooms are clean & tidy. The Bathroom as good with a good high pressured shower.
The room had WI-FI all be it a little on the slow side.
Breakfast was good by Europen standards.

The pros are few - close to the station and restaurants, plus the hop on/off bus stop. The cleaners in the hotel are efficient and friendly - they could teach the rest of the staff a few things about being polite and service standards. Breakfast fills your stomach (sort of) but is mostly stale and the staff simply do not care. Front desk are adequate but don't do much to really assist. Stay on the lower floors so that you can use the stairs as the elevator is a joke. All up it would appear this hotel was something mores site in its hey-day, but that was a long time ago and it needs a make over if it's truly going to meet international visitor expectations. On the other hand, they probably survive with tour groups where the price is right and have no choice about hotel choice - pity. Look elsewhere if you're traveling alone.

This is an hotel that serves as a center for many group tours. We spent four sthere and found it satisfactory. The room was large and clean, although street noise (we were in the front) was excessive after 7 am. The breatfasts were excellent and sitting on the roof top is a delightful experience. The view is wonderful. Staff was helpful, but have to deal with the constant turn over of groups. It is close to train station and to many sights.

Room Tip: You get street noise in the morning - cabs honking - from about 7 am on.

The hotel is conveniently placed next to Termini, the main station which has a good connection to airport and also most historical locations are in walking distance (10 min to Colosseo).
There is wifi, while not super fast but good enough. My single room is clean, tide, with plasma TV and desk but rather short and narrow bed.
The nice advantage of the hotel is breakfast on the roof. Not too much space there but nice locations to hang out.

We used this hotel as part of a group booking through Great Rail Journeys. Any self respecting traveller would definitely not stay here and I can only conclude that they remain open with the passing trade of tour groups from around the world. This medium sized hotel lacks even a modicum of charm and is served by one tiny lift which takes forever. A second lift does take you to the roof garden ( well thats what they call it) with views across Rome via air-conditioning units and shabby hotel roofs. The dome of St Peter's can be seen in the distance by telescope! The barman up there is very friendly gives good service, and bar the excessive prices, is the only one in the hotel that possesses a modicom of charm. After our prepaid meal on night one of three nights spent there we elected to eat out as both the quality of the food and the dire service were just too much. The room was stuffy, old fashioned, tired and looked into a well between buildings with dangerous electrical cables in view.It isn't handy either for any of the major sights in Rome bar the railway station which is within walking distance. An altogether tired, shabby hotel which but for tour groups would have folded years ago.
