“Nice, roomy hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 23, 2013

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and everything was pretty much great.
Rooms are clean and relatively spacious. Bath is clean and with decent water pressure. Continental breakfast was OK , despite limited variety and at par coffee coffee.
Staff was very nice, polite and helpful, and have us an overall welcome feeling.
Location was in a quiet, good neighborhood - 20-30 minutes walk from most major attractions, which was good for us.
Overall, we felt it was a great deal - staff, location, rooms - and would definitely recommend it to our friends.

Have Stayed there for over 10 days, Rooms are spacious compared to other hotels in the vicinity. Service is good, though nothing is available for in room dining after 11:30 PM.
One thing they could improve - the buffet breakfast does not have any warm items.
They have a wide variety of cold cuts, chesses but nothing warm.

One thing worth mentioning and appreciating : Had forgotten my camera in the room and had checked out. Checked with the reception next day and found my camera with them :)

This year we have stayed 3 times and as always just a delightful stay. Great location which is quite and comfortable yet an easy walk to all the major attractions, which is just as well as many of the local food haunts make you over indulge. Good coffee at breakfast and plenty to choose from and friendly attentive staff make this a great place to stay. Try the Gelato shop just round the corner and the spice shop across the road is to die for and dare I mention the cheese shop 2 doors up or the pizza shop on the corner.
Enjoy we do

My wife and I have stayed in this hotel a few times already over the years. The Hotel is small, therefore, breakfasts are pleasant, not too many floors and good service. Staff is cordial and dedicated, as importantly the front office and concierge desk are very helpful with all your needs in Rome be it touristic or for restaurants recommendations as well as reservations.
We highly recommend this hotel if you are not looking for the five stars state of the art fancy hotels, but wish to have 4 stars decent size rooms with all amenities, then you have found your place.

Room Tip: High floor rooms on the square for best quietness.

A friend recommend this hotel and we were not disappointed. It is clean, comfortable, and quiet. It is about a 15 minute walk from the main train station and the Gallery Borghese. It is a bit off the beaten path, in more of a residential neighborhood than commercial or tourist area. But this is part of its charm. The staff answered all questions with ease and made great restaurant suggestions. I would gladly stay here again.

This was a grand find for our stay in Rome. It is fantastic value for your money. It is about a mile by taxi from the Termini Station where we had landed after arriving by coach bus from the airport. When we arrived at the hotel we were checked in within a short time which was great since it was late and we were tired from our journey.

We had a beautiful room with a window overlooking a giant palm tree We had a marbled, large bathroom with both a shower-head and hand-held shower. We had a comfortable double-bed and a large closet to hang our clothes along with a good-size TV. There was a desk and internet access. The cleaning lady eagerly asked us if we needed to have our room cleaned the 2nd day there even though we didn't need it. The next day when we did need her services, we returned from breakfast to find the room already cleaned and the bed made up.

Breakfast is included and is a feast for the eyes and the stomach. It is set in a grand dining room with beautiful paintings on the walls. Each table had a table cloth. There were cereal, a variety of pastries, plenty of fruit, all kinds of fruit juices, hard-boiled eggs and you were asked if you wanted Espresso or American coffee to go with your breakfast. Tea is also available.

After breakfast, you can head to the lounge area which is similarly grand with beautiful artwork and comfortable couches and chairs.

We walked the first day and saw the Borghese Gardens, Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain, The following day we took a train from the Termini Station to Cornelia towards the end of the line to see a different Rome away from the famous ruins. Here we saw Italians who lead regular lives in apartments above shops. Taking the Metro in the opposite direction we landed near St. Peter's Square to marvel at history and the greatness of the structures there.

We booked a day ahead for transport back to the airport through this hotel. It was convenient for us since we needed to get to the Leonardo da Vinci airport at an early hour. The car arrived on time and the driver was pleasant although he didn't speak much English. It cost us 45 Euros.

We highly recommend this hotel for its beauty, old world charm, and quiet location.

We will stay here any time we go to Rome now. The combination of classic and contemporary decor provides an extrememely comfortable atmosphere in bedrooms as well as common areas. The staff are professional and go out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast is exceptional, the best we experienced in Italy. We loved the quiet location, very nice quiet area, surrounded by beautiful buildings, and close enough to walk to a lot of attractions, including the Via Veneto. It is near public transportation nearby for folks who are not avid , though we found walking a great hedge against pasta weight gain! When we did take a taxi after an exhausting day at the Vatican, it cost only 12 euros. There is a great little restuarant, La Pentolaccia, an easy walk away even after a long day of sightseeing.
