The hotel is about 300m away from Stazione Centrale. It can be therefore a bit noisy during the night. The rooms are quite small and look rather old-fashioned. Nevertheless, the hotel is suitable if you have to be at the station very late or early. A bit expensive for what it can offer, the food court is a little bit too small.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a higher floor because of the noise from the street

Dear Guest, thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at the Piemonte Hotel. Surely, The location is our strength point, it’s also very useful to reach the most important attractions here in Rome and it could be noisy because of the pubs around here. We are so glad that you enjoyed the time here, some of our rooms are small but every rooms are so comfortable. Maybe next time you could reserve a bigger room. We’ll remember for our next guests to check our web site, where you can find special offers for short and long stay every day of the year. We hope to have that opportunity to welcome you back again. I traveled to Rome in April 2013. The Hotel was within my budget and I had chosen this hotel based on Tripadvisor ratings and proximity of the hotel to Rome Termini Station.

Rooms:
Basic rooms with good furniture and fixtures. Rooms are plain and not heavily decorated. Plain furniture matches the overall look and feel of the hotel. The rooms are adequately large. I stayed in a room which accommodated 3 people comfortably. In fact there were 2 TVs and an adjacent smaller room for the third person. The bathroom was ok.

Service:
Front desk was helpful and warm. There were able to converse comfortably in English. The hotel has free wifi, which is good. It also has a business centre for the guests. There were no issues with the service.

Location:
The hotel screams location. It is right next to the Termini Station. So in case you are planning to see Italy by train you can walk to the station in less than 5 minutes. Also, if you are transferring from the Fiumicino Airport to the station (via Leonardo Express) then it is an easy walk to the hotel. Remember to exit the station on your right. (Relative to the direction the trains enter the station) The Hop-on Hop-off tour buses also start from the Termini Station. So that is an added advantage.

Food:
Food was nothing to write home about. In fact they had the same breakfast menu every day. Which does lead to some boredom. Maybe the management should rotate certain items in the menu on a daily basis.

Overall a neat and well managed hotel, located in the heart of the city.

We stopped 4 nights in April to visit Rome. The hotel is 2 minute walk from the termini (train station) and just to the east. On the east road of the Termini is where the city bus tour (line a) leaves and also buses to the Airports. This makes the hotel ideally placed for the tourist on foot. We were in room 004, a pleasant room with double bed, stocked fridge bar and en-suite. The bed was very firm, but (being used to a firm bed) this didn't cause us problems. The room had air-con but I am not convinced it was working efficiently, as opening the window (which had good metal bars on it) at night was more efficient at cooling the room. An important omission we thought was the lack of tea/coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast was all you can eat continental (a selection of bread, cake, yoghurt, cheese, meat etc) with juice and tea/coffee via a machine. The breakfast area incorporates a 'bar' where it seemed (we didn't try) a fresh coffee will be made for you at breakfast, It didn't seem as if this bar was open in the evening for drinks, although maybe that changes later in the season. No evening meal is available but there are several pizzeria/cafe nearby (non of which was particularly cheep). Overall, we felt the Piemonte was a good choice and one we'd consider if returning. All the staff were friendly. There is a lounge adjacent to reception.

Room Tip: Rooms 1 -> 4 are on the ground floor, but there is a lift to upper floors

Dear Guest, It is wonderful to hear such positive feedback. We have an amazing concierge team who is always available to provide our guests with cheap dining suggestions in the area. Our location is very helpful to fit any kind of need. the closeness to termini station guarantees to our guest that they will reach every place in Rome with taxi, bus, subway, shuttle to the airport and city tours. We are so happy you appreciated the service and the comfort of our rooms. About the air conditioning, it is an automatic machine that works only during summer and winter. In any case, we suggest to always call the reception so we can solve the problem. At last but certainly not least, remember we are offering a wide choice of foods delivered daily! Thanks for your kind words about the staff, We hope to see you again in the near future, Best Regards. Yuri Dattola Public Relations Manager

We just came back from rome from a 5 days family trip(with our three little boys) and all i can say is: GREAT! we choice this hotel because the reviews here and i was expecting an average hotel, but it was more than what we expected!!! we were assigned one big room with a double bed and two extra single beds and was just perfect for us we travel with our three kids from 5 to 10 years old and the beds were good size and really comfortable, the room was really spacious with a small but functional bathroom with shower, everything very clean, they don't have carpet in the room so that was great because my son is asthmatic. The room was equipped with two hd televisions and a great variety of channels, one fridge and a/c and they have free internet what is a plus specially if you travel with children. It's in a great location (only 2 min from termini) and really quiet. You have a big choice of restaurants around the hotel. The staff is really polite and nice.you have a supermarket near the hotel with everything you could need, also a lot of pizzerias and Chinese restaurants where you can eat really good for a great price. We really enjoyed our stay in the Piemonte Hotel and i recommend it to everyone!!!

We were assigned 2 rooms in the 'Annex' around the corner. I was a bit wary about having accomodations away from the main building. It turned out the rooms were larger and It was quieter, as lobby of the main building was often busy with guest checking in and out during Easter week. Breakfast in the breakfast room was a bit cramp and busy, the staff was very quick to in provide a clean table and supply a nice European style selections of pastries, rolls, cold cuts, cereals, fruits and yogurts. We enjoyed our 5 night stay in The Piemonte. A word of caution, the Annex is a multi use building with an unattended lobby. The building doors are buzzed opend remotely and closes slowly. A non tenent of can easily slip into the building. We had to report a suspicious person waiting to enter the building after us. The Hotel immediately sent a staff member to question the person. The incident ended as the person left.

Room Tip: The rooms in the Annex are larger and quieter. If you are a solo traveler I recommend getting a room...

Dear Customers, thank you for sharing your experience at the Piemonte Hotel. In the beginning, many of you were wary about the residence accommodations, but then you changed your opinion. Our rooms in the Depandance are bigger, newer and quiter with all the facilities you need. I remember personally that little incident with the suspicious guy near the entrance of the residence, it was me that “escorted” you into your rooms. Anyways, we remind everyone that our video surveillance system is 24h, both in the residence and in the main building, but you took the best decision to contact us. Thank you for your kind words. We look forward to seeing you again in what we hope will be the near future. Best Regards. Yuri Dattola Public Relations Manager

Me and my friends stayed here for a week. First time to Rome. All i can say is that the staff made this trip the best one ever! One of the receptionist especially... Yuri. He was so awesome and helped with the translating. He even suggested cool places to go to around the hotel. I myself knew that some of my questions were a little ridiculous but Yuri was so easy-going and eager to help. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable!

We travelled by train from Naples to Rome, so Hotel near Termini was our choice and also the 2 lines of METRO near is good to travel in city. Hotel Piemonte is close to the Termini station to get quickly to train or metro station, but it is totally out of the train noises etc. We had a room in the second building of this hotel, nice room, bigger than we expected. Wi-fi connection was excellent. Good breakfast service. We really liked this hotel. A supermarket is near and a small shop with home made pizza is a good choice to have a quick food if you do want to spend a lot of money for food every day in centre of Rome. If we ever go to Rome again, we will choose Piemonte again.
