Checked in for a long weekend and the location was great - really couldnt fault it. 30 seconds from Trevi Fountain, etc. 1st room was horrendous with the window facing a 1x1 meter air conditioning chamber and tatty. Didnt think this was the end of the world as not planning on spending too much time there. Came back 6 hours later to find bedroom door wide open and luggage disturbed because room door unable to lock unless receptionist slammed door so hard plaster failed from the ceiling. finally moved to slightly better room but still very tatty and dated. If your looking for clean, basic rooms try somewhere else. 9th time been to Rome and while I couldn't fault the location I wouldn't recommend the hotel unless desperate. Their are ancient ruines with better facilities.
