We too also stayed at Cinemusic Hotel, as another reviewer, and arrived in Rome later in the evening and needed to find dinner close by. Based on the other recommendation we decided to go there. When we walked in the woman who seated us did not speak any English, but we quickly figured out red wine and got started. Her daughter Valentina came to wait on us and she was very helpful, not only with dinner, but with some great recommendations for site seeing. Her mother was the cook, so dinner was superb. We had the Soltunbocca (out of this world) and veal scallapini, which was also very tasty. Dinner portions were pretty small so we also had a salad which we split and a cheese platter (the Parmesan cheese was mouth watering). Valentina also served a home made dipping sauce that I believe was made out of oranges and it was do die for. Highly recommend going to Trattoria Re Di Roma if you're in the neighborhood and looking for great food. The price was excellent too.

Not expecting much in Rome for a suburban restaurant this was a pleasant surprise. We had antipasto through to dessert with a half litre of wine for under 30€ each. If you are intimidated by local etiquette the host was great, indicating that I should mop up my pasta sauce with the bread and pick up the lamb bones and gnaw. A very relaxed place (at least on a quiet night) with the right touch of lived in decor. The food was good and simple, nothing too clever. For me, this was a bit of home away from home.

I had to give this place a 4 just because it was such a bargain! Dinner for 2 with wine and dessert worked out to 33 Euros for us and the food, although not gourmet, was delicious! Our B&B was close by so we could walk there. Make sure you phone ahead of time though as it is closed for a couple of days during the week.

We were staying at cinemusic hotel and searched for a place to have dinner...by accident we found this incredible place. A familiar restaurant, with a great variety of pastas and meat. The service very good, always concerned to give a great dinner, although the communication wasn't always easy (i don't speak Italian) the owner was extremely polite and friendly.I highly recommend this place. The cake of the house was also very good. And we had dinner for 27€.
